Huang Garden Inn（Grand Water Wheel）

The room is clean and spacious for 4 people. The hotel owner was very kind and helpful. He helped me booked pickup service from the railway station, waited for us at the main entrance location and helped us carry the bag. Also, its inside the ancient city, you can walk around to explore it. The only cons here was the stairs and the toilet door is not closed properly. To reach the hotel you need to go through 3 sets of stairs. Regarding the toilet door, meaning that you will smell everything from the toilet inside the room. Overall i would rate my stay at this place is 9/10.

Location is inside the Lijiang Ancient City, hard to push luggage due to stone floor, but the boss is kind enough to help us carry the luggage so it's hassle free. But it's very good to stay inside Lijiang Ancient City bcos you can hang around there until 11pm! Nearby have local eateris shop which offer valuable meals(RMB15 for porridge while other shop is selling RMB 30+-) so it's good for budget traveller to stay. The hotel is authentic local Lijiang building style, very nice when we took picture around. We also got a valuable shooting package at only RMB139 for 20 piece photos with 1 set costume + makeup. You can climb up to the highest floor to enjoy the scenery of roof top. The room is equipped with aircond (hot/cold) with hot blanket so it's very comfortable to stay. Truly amazing experience to stay in Huang Garden and travel in LiJiang!!

The owner was very helpful and could speak english, he will pickup to the nearest gate, the room is very clean and the toilet is clean, the bed has an electric bed so no worries if you travel in winter, the location is very quiet and you can watch the sunset just behind the inn. Also can book for a day trip to JDSM with the Inn, they will arrange for you for a cheaper price than other agents outside 🫣

The host is very friendly and helpful giving us tips on how to effectively tour around Li Jiang. Service is excellent. The rooms are cozy and clean as the room service is very consistent. The location of inn is more or less convenient for us to travel around the ancient city. Everyone in the inn was very friendly too. It's like a home. Highly recommended.

The service at Huang Garden Inn was impeccable. The staff were incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. We were particularly impressed with the heated bed in our room, which provided a cozy and warm retreat after a day of exploring the city. Additionally, the owner can speak English and extremely helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. From the day we arrived the host really helpful to carry our bag to the room. When we ask for anything host will respond asap through wechat or in person. The halal restaurant also nearby, host will share the location.we really enjoy out stay with the kids. Thanks Jack
