The Inn (the Old Town of Lijiang Store) is located in the southwest of Dayan Ancient City, a famous historical and cultural city. It does not compete with Xuanshi for splendor. It is as quiet as a scholar's leisure guest, as beautiful as a lady from a family, and as elegant as a hermit in a busy downtown. In the courtyard of the inn, there are three small bridges with different styles spanning the water. Fish wander in the pond, and flowers bloom by the pond all year round, with green trees providing shade. Each room has a hand-painted mural by a painter, telling people about the beautiful legends and old stories of this land, whether it's the charm of Naxi, the ancient Lijiang, or the cultural Dongba. This cultural heritage, the inn has been its own temperament since its birth in the alleys of Beijing, reaching Dali and then Lijiang. The inn is fully equipped with sightseeing elevators, meeting rooms, restaurants, parking lots, many books, and freshly ground coffee for you to taste for free.

Accommodation is very quiet, clean and safe. There are convenience shops & eateries on the same street. As a solo traveller who speaks simple mandarin, the owner was very helpful with travel recommendations & assisted with booking day tours. They were also slightly cheaper than Trip.com. Only problem is the tour drivers don’t speak English. Highly recommend!!!

A very nice and calm stay. Nearby the south gate of the old town. Got some shops nearby the hotel which is very convinient. Would come again if visiting lijiang again.

The rooms looks quite old, there was some mold in the washroom top too, but apart from that, the ambience, environment, rooftop, services, washing and drying facilities, everything was top notch. If they restore the room conditions a bit better, then it's definitely a 5/5. The location was also quite close and walking distance to Lijiang Old town, and Shuhe old town was not far away.
The owner helped me book Jude Dragon Snow Mountain day tour and also I trekked the Tiger leaping Gorge, and he helped me manage a seat for me in a shared van that took me to the starting point of the trekking area.

walking distant to LiJiang ancient city, look the design and feeling of the inns, very nice, comfortable and nostalgic. we booked two diff type of room. the owner is very helpful to accommodate our request to arrange side by side rooms.

The Old Story Inn in Lijiang is very conveniently located near the entrance to the old town. The staff is very friendly and extremely supportive. I even got a room upgrade during my stay and all of my questions and requests had been fully answered. It was a great pleasure to stay at this place.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hotel. The Service was very good and the young guy at the reception very nice and helpful. For the breakfast we chose Chinese Style and liked it also.
The whole atmosphere of the hotel makes you want to sit on the balcony in the cozy seats and enjoy, or lie in the bathtub and relax.
The only Thing we regretis, that we could only stay for one night.
