Elmi Beach Hotel & Suites

This is an amazing hotel, clean, service great. Rooms are exceptional. Very clean and functional. Menu is very tasty and varied, great food. Value for money all inclusive. Staff is exceptional and the whole atmosphere is very comfortable. Many beaches and shops nearby.

Very bad all inclusive hotel. The only resturant is the buffet with terrible food. The staff never smiles and are not helpful with anything. Asked for a room with sea view, we booked a very expesive suite and expected it to be possible to get what we asked for, but we get a room with pool view where all the guests can stare directly into our room 24/7…. Would not recommend going here, the hotel next door is 10 times better!!

We recently finished off our vacation to Crete with a 4 day stay at the Elmi suites. To provide some context look at the attached pictures. And feel free to sing a long. The hotel has stunning views from the small cliff face restaurant. An extensive AI drinks package, & excellent food. The standards are extremely high & were consistent. There is very little that I could say that isn't a positive. Aside from we had an early morning flight & had booked an early breakfast. The reception requested our room number etc. However, on getting up, arriving at the dining facility. There was no breakfast, No provision, & staff were only just coming in. (Extremely Poor). That is possibly more a reflection on a staff member, but reflects on the hotel. As a paying guest you are both entitled & expect to be fed. The other point to work on are the pool toilets which are below ground that are infested with flies & mosquitoes. Something like electric fly zappers or keeping the doors closed might help. But this is not a good look. Aside from this the hotel is highly recommended. Would I stay here again: Yes, we paid £72 per night for a junior suite to provide some context, which was great value for money. Although a 15 minute walk into the centre of the resort. It has a beautiful beachfront location on the promenade. Although the hotel does look slightly dated. To those going on an AI if this is what you seek. Humans also feature on the mosquito AI menu. During the time here. They were everywhere. So unless like me you don't get bitten. Take plenty of repellent.

Let’s start with the positive, the staff was 5 star all the way. We arrived in the middle of the night got rooms all over the place but it was all sorted in the morning. The staff worked hard to turn over drinks and ice cream from two bars. Almost always with a smile. They saved the holiday. The Elmo suit is one building and the rooms are fantastic. However we had unspecified rooms from lastminute.com and ended up in Porto Greco village. The rooms are clean worn spacious with out facilities. 2 star at most. Make sure what room you have booked. For the cosmo group. Do not over sell, you just create unhappy customers…. Cleaning was good the rooms where clean but a couple of extras like glasses, iron etc would push the room up in rating. The all inclusive food was at best mundane. The green session had burgers chips and pasta… not great. The fish was tasteless, the chicken when served was the highlight but I can cook that at home any day so very disappointed. Yes we ha overcooked prawns one day but we had to go out at night to get a decent meal. Plenty of restaurants, just avoid Scorpio bar and orian bar as they have the same kitchen and the same food as all inclusive more or less The pools are small and there is a constant fight for sun chairs as in any resort. They have basketball half court in the basement …. Yes they actually do and it’s perfect for 2v2 or shooting. The gym is half broken, but a few weights and bars you can make a decent workout. The spa and bubble pools are down here as well. Did not use them, but they did not look inviting to use at all unfortunately. We hoped for a 4 start experience, the staff delivered but everyone else let us down….
