Harma Boutique Hotel

We booked side sea view room and got the one on top floor. Room was very small with a tiny bathroom, outdated and not clean. Dust everywhere. The balcony was quite big on this floor. We were traveling with my sister and we got a room with double bed. If you want to change the room, you need to check out from the one you have and wait for few hours till other is ready. Service at the restaurant was really bad. No smiles, no hello, no nothing. There was always a shortage of knifes for some reason. And the food... Well it was a torture to eat dinners there as it was always same. Some pasta, some vegetables dish, 2 types of meat and a fish. Meat meals changes sometimes, but the fish was coocked exact same way every day. At first you don't even understand who is staff and who is a guest as they don't have any recognition signs or even unified outfits. Overall, there were no greek hospitality there. Hotel staff didn't care about guests well-being at all. Pool is very small and there are for sure not as meny sunbeds as it's shown on pictures. Gym was a joke. The location was ok, near the sea and center. However, I would not recomend anyone to stay in this hotel.

If I could give 0 star I would. I am also against leaving negative reviews for any business as they do rely on truthful and accurate ratings. However, do not book this hotel if you want a comfortable stay. The pictures are “catfish” photos. It is not a boutique hotel. It is not 4* like they advertise. Upon arrival, which was late at night, animals were eating left over food from the dinner tables just hours before. See photos. Rooms are tiny and placed across 4 separate buildings. In between rubbish and concrete holes. There is no beach around the hotel. Just a meter of sand with 100 people squashed in with sunbeds. We only stayed the one night, our arrival evening, having arrived at midnight. The room was dated and unclean. If you like hard bread and limited choice for breakfast, that’s what you will find. I’ve stayed in many hotels in Greece, and don’t mind very basic standards, however not when it’s described wrongly and falsifying the truth. You have to pay 47 euros upon arriving at reception for the room levy. I have no problem with this and was paid, this is standard in many hotels. In the morning when respectfully saying the hotel was not as described, the manager laughed and said he wouldn’t refund any room levy money for my taxi to another hotel as “I would be leaving a negative review anyway”. I was with my 10 year old daughter. It was a nightmare. I was that disappointed, I suck it up and paid for another hotel 20 minutes away and £1500 down for the remaining days of our holiday. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. Rude management who will argue inappropriately with you, laugh at you and tell you you are wrong. False advertising and very disappointing. The photos must only show the room or couple of rooms that exist somewhere in the hotel. Be prepared to move to a side street next to rubbish bins, and climb 3 flights of stairs to a hostel style room when booking this hotel.

Beautiful beaches, wonderful people, great weather. Perfect service! Heraklion is one of the beautiful island cities with many restaurants and shopping centers! Harma Hotel is the perfect place for a vacation! Perfect time!!!

Stayed several times at Harma and always found the service second to none. Wonderful comfortable beds, high standard of cleanliness and modern design. The staff go above and beyond to fulfil your needs. Close to the sea and town centre , so perfectly placed for an excellent holiday.

This hotel got everything you want. Friendly staff, nice rooms, great pool area and good breakfast. It's close to restaurants and shops but still in a quiet part of Hersonissos. Would definitely come back in the future. Be sure to stop by the bar for a refreshing drink and chat with the staff!

All staff so welcoming & nothing too much trouble. Especially Manos on reception. Happily sorted out extra blankets a little fault in room & possible room change. Rooms spacious & clean. All areas well maintained. So close to beach. love it. & great choice of bars on beach area or on main road. 5 min walk to hersonissis harbour. Great spot, great hotel.
