Vasia Boulevard Hotel (Adults Only)

I very rarely right reviews but feel I must do one for this hotel if only to enlighten people to the issues that I feel needs raising. Firstly this is down as a 5 star hotel.It’s 3 to 4 star at best. The one thing that struck me reading the other reviews is how little was said about the the size of the pool and pool area and how much it stays in the shade, at least it did from 19/9/24-26/9/24, and finally the lack of a pool bar. The hotel is spotless, the staff are great, the room was adequate but nothing special, the shower was very good, the balcony was nothing to write home about, the WiFi is very good and the breakfast is perfect but unfortunately this doesn’t take away from some of the inaccuracies within the advertising material from both the hotel and the travel company. The pool is small, very shaded and there is definitely no poolside bar,or at least non that I could find. The pool area consists of 8 bean bag type sun loungers that for the elderly may be difficult to get on and off. Non of the negatives above spoilt the holiday. We were in room 201 on the first floor.

Attention to anyone considering booking at Vasia Boulevard Boutique in Hersonissos, Crete. Here are some details that I hope will help you. I will also be posting pictures of the hotel that convey more than words can. We spent seven wonderful days at Vazia Boulevard and cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. From the moment we arrived, we were overwhelmed by the fantastic service and stylish design. Although we didn't initially have a sea view room, the hotel arranged for us to have a room with a sea view, which was a lovely gesture. The breakfast buffet was a dream, offering a wide variety of hot and cold dishes, delicious pastries, and fresh honey. The professional staff serving breakfast made a real impression – they took orders, served Greek coffee, orange juice, and many other delightful beverages in a very professional manner. The room was extremely fresh and well-maintained every day, with very high-quality bedding. The cleaning staff did an outstanding job keeping it clean and replenishing water and toiletries. The only thing we would have liked was additional storage, as there was only one wardrobe. A small table or similar for placing luggage would have been practical, instead of having to put it on the floor. The staff, from the reception (Maria a Vola and a gentelman whose name i unfortunately don’t recall and to the kitchen and café staff, truly went above and beyond. Especially the hotel manager, Nikos, who was one of the most helpful and professional people we have ever met. He and the entire staff made us feel like part of the family. The hotel's location was also perfect, close to the beach and offering a calm, relaxing atmosphere. We genuinely felt like we wanted to return, and we definitely will. Just got home from Chersonissos and stayed week in this lovely, adults only hotel. The rooms are lovely, cleaned daily and nicely decorated. Breakfast was delicious and the location of the hotel,is just perfect. Location was very central by the beach and everything is just behind the corner. Still, we had good night sleeps. We had a seaview room on the 3rd floor. Hotel was so calm and peaceful place. The best part of this hotel was still staff! They did absolutely everything they could,so the quests would enjoy their holidays. Special thanks to Voula,who tried to help us in the situation, where MOTORENTAL-rental car company cheated us with full insurance. AVOID THIS MOTORENTAL COMPANY!! It’s the company,where are signs, that cars are 70% discount. Their full insurance doesn’t cover your rental car,if someone hits the car at Parking lot, so it’s NOT really full insurance. We had to pay for the damage we didn’t make! There are so many others car rentals nearby, so choose wisely. We should have rented the car from the hotels partners, but didn’t, and we paid for that. So,if you’re gonna rent a car,rent it from the hotels partners. They will help you with the rental in the reception gladly,and they co-operate with good and decent rental companies. The pool was small,but it was ok to take a dip there after beach. If you want to try something else, there is Ocean Beach Club (100metres away), where was a big pool. This was one of the best hotels,where we have been because of the people who work there. Thank you.❤️

Such a wonderful stay my mum and I had enjoyed here at the Vasia Boulevard. Of course you have the understated, clean luxury which makes the hotel so beautiful, the amenities are carefully thought through and the courtyard is such a tranquil oasis in the middle of Hersonissos. But what really makes the place so special are the staff. The staff go above and beyond for us and all the guests who stay here to make our stay comfortable, like home from home and take the time to chat to you and get to know you. They show an interest in you and your day. It’s like family and the staff embody the true meaning of hospitality. A real credit to the hotel and show everyone how φιλοξενία is done. British hospitality could learn so much from this philosophy. The staff are all very accommodating and Nikos takes the time to chat to all his guests and asks how we all are doing every day and this really is special. He looks after his staff and encourages the best out of them in a gentle way. Voula on reception is wonderful and also can recommend and book a range of amazing trips - something I recommend strongly if coming to Crete because there is so much to discover from history to culture and Cretan nights (this one I need to still go but definitely on my list for next time.) I really can’t thank every single member of staff enough for their wonderful hospitality and their beautiful smiles when they look after you. Nothing is ever too big or small. And if you need more reason to stay here, the half board à la carte menu at the beachside restaurant is out of this world! Generously portioned plates, a balanced menu and not forgetting the Greek classics on there of course, you have plenty to choose from without being overwhelmed. The balanced menu allows for superbly high quality and delicious cooking - the chefs do such a remarkable job and are incredibly talented. Ingredients are all fresh and local. Another winner. We were transferred to this hotel due to our original hotel not being completed. Well I’m so glad we were we had an amazing stay in this luxury hotel. Location is great . Hotel was spotless , manager Nickos and his team were amazing, always smiling and checking everything was ok with our stay . Can not recommend this hotel enough.

Perfect location with a beautiful view. Near everything but still a quiet place. Really nice breakfast buffé with a lot to choose from! Good service, staff was great. The rooms were fresh! Small pool with not so many sunbeds but that didn’t bother us since the hotel was located near the different beaches.
