We had an amazing stay at Palazzo Previtera. The hotel oozes character and history and the rooms are designed beautifully to match this. Breakfast in the garden was a serene experience each morning, and relaxing by the pool area with (Mount Etna in the background) was the perfect way to end the day after a day exploring the local vineyards. Most of all, Alfio was the perfect host — knowledgeable, attentive, and always ready to share fascinating stories. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and can’t wait to return to try dinner in the restaurant!

If you like authentic experiences, this is for you. Here is a hotel that is really build based on its surroundings and buildings and not the other way around. Very attentive staff, great breakfast and it is quite an experience staying in a living museum. Perhaps the staff could do more to proactively explain about the palazzo. The small pool is a great addition for a small swim with a view on Etna!

Palazzo Previtera is one of the best hotel in the world. It is a small and intimate building. Rooms are beautiful with fantastic views over the gardens or the historic center of Linguaglossa. Linguaglossa is a typical town situated on the north side of Etna with few restaurants. The restaurant of the Palazzo which is due to open is superb, the chef goes foraging twice a week and he picks the most delicious herbs. The staff, costanza and Alfio were so attentive to our needs. the best customer service that we ever experiences in Sicily. The swimming pool was such a treat!

The whole concept of this type of hotel is unique to Italy and especially for Sicily - from the decor to the service, it is so difficult to find a mistake. We love the staff attentive to our needs and the kindness of the hosts who share such a deep passion to Sicily. We really enjoyed the view of the swimming pool over looking Mt. Etna. It is so rare to find an hotel in the middle of the town with a massive botanical garden. We can definitely recommend to our friends.

Palazzo Previtera is one of the places that you enter and you don't wanna leave. How can I describe it? It is a magical hidden gem, where each rooms is delicately decorated and it shows how passion and love for an old building can go together. Alfio is a very special human being who understands well each guest's preferences. the restaurant is fantastic , we got try one of their sample dinner and it was sensational! we will come back next spring!

Palazzo Previtera is one of the few places in the world where you feel right at home when you enter this magnificent sun coloured building. The new garden suite is wonderfully decorated with original art deco pieces and the most beautiful view of Etna. The gardens and the historic private rooms are wonderful. Alfio and his team are the most human kind hearted humans who will do everything for you . They are trilingual and so knowledgeable about Sicily and this location. We really enjoyed the view from the swimming pool, so peaceful and quiet. Thank you for creating such a magical place and sharing with us for a week. We will be back next year to try the new bar and restaurant!

Wonderful locations filled with history and beautiful antiques. Our suite was spacious and the bathroom with shower and bathtub overlooked the quiet garden of the Palazzo. Lovely interiors and very private hotel where each guest is treated like a member of the family. Thank you everyone for a lovely stay and we can't wait to come back!
