The room is clean and tidy, and the water pressure is strong! I am very resistant to B&Bs, thinking that the room may not be clean enough, but Xishe completely conquered me, it is very clean! And the service of Xishe is super good, the little brother helps to move the luggage, and there is also a pick-up service, which is full of human touch! I will book this hotel next time, love it!

My friend and I stayed here for one night and, whilst overall our stay was fine, I did feel some things were lacking. The room was large, with plenty of space, but the bathroom was tiny. The windows were entirely frosted which meant there was no view of the outside, which made the room feel rather claustrophobic. But BY FAR the biggest problem for me was the air conditioning. It was on constantly, at the lowest setting, but the room never cooled down throughout our stay. It wasn’t particularly hot at the end of August but with the lack of windows that opened, and high humidity, it made the room feel very stuffy and affected my sleep. The temperature of the room is an important factor for me and I wouldn’t stay here again without knowing beforehand that the AC was working as it should.

Located inside the Zhaoxing village. Facilities are good and room was cleaned daily. The toiletries are basic and I recommend you bring your own. There were free 2 bottles of water everyday but there is also a water dispenser at the reception. The guy at the reception picked me up from the village gate so it was easy and I did not have to search for the location. He gave me an introduction to the map of the village and showed me where interesting areas are located. The hotel is a short walk to town hospital which is convenient for covid testing and also the bus stop to go to Miao village and railway station. My room has a balcony that faces the lake, very nice view. The reception guy was very helpful, answers all my questions and also helped me purchase local snacks to take back to Shanghai. Not sure if he sleeps because he was always available! Breakfast is Chinese noodles with some purple taro, mantou and egg. It's the same everyday. I had a very relaxed and comfortable stay! They will also take the initiative to contact us the day before check-in. Now Dong Village no longer allows inns to provide private charter services, but living in Seclusion is really invincible. The high-speed rail station transportation bus can be sent directly to the entrance of the inn. You can drive to the entrance of the scenic spot and take a sightseeing bus. There is also a dedicated Seclusion station, which is 200 meters away. Ping Road can also go to the entrance of the inn. If you leave the inn and go to the gate of the scenic spot or the high-speed rail station, you can help to contact the transportation car to the gate of the inn. Every time we get on and off the bus, we can hear the envious voices of other inn guests, it’s really awesome. The scenery seen in the room is the highest scenery in the Dong village. It is really beautiful. You can pet cats and play chess in the lobby, which is also very pleasant. There are a lot of people on the main street during the summer vacation, and there are even queues for restaurants. It is also a kind of seclusion among the crowd for us to eat delicious sour soup while looking at the scenery downstairs in the Seclusion Restaurant.

Environment: As a traveler who escapes from the city for a short time and comes here to breathe oxygen, the appearance of the B&B building and the floor-to-ceiling scenery outside the window meet the visual needs of the inside and outside. Many tourists come to the B&B to check in the building, proving that the aesthetics satisfy most people. However, the location is far from the village gate. If you check in with a suitcase, you may need to spend some effort. Facilities: The owner of the B&B graduated from Sichuan Fine Arts Institute. There are clothing and ceramic works for sale in a separate space, which is also an option for shopping. Service: Breakfast self-service is provided, which is a plus point among B&Bs of the same price. After all, there was no price increase during the May Day holiday, while other prices doubled.

The B&B has a book bar and a movie room. You can take your children to read in the book bar and experience the peaceful life of Dong Village together. There are also recreational facilities on the mountain behind the B&B, but the weather was not good when I came here so I couldn’t go. The guest rooms are surprisingly comfortable and clean, making you feel at home in the original Dong Village. The room has a wide view, and you can see the waterfront and lake view. Especially at night, when the lights are brightly lit, the scenery of the Dong Village is fully visible. The dining at the B&B is also very good, and I also had dinner here. Among the B&Bs I have stayed in, this one has a very good experience!

The hotel has a pick-up service, and the attitude is super good. I told the hotel in advance that a handsome guy would pick me up at the high-speed rail station. The hotel is right at the entrance of the village. You can see the whole picture of the village from the room. It is very convenient to go out and walk into the village. Hahaha, I was suddenly hungry when I returned to the hotel on the first night of my stay. The hotel guy also lent me a bicycle to buy food in the village. When I checked out, I left something at the hotel. I told the hotel front desk that I left something. I was on the high-speed rail at 11 o'clock, and the handsome guy sent me to the high-speed rail station at 10:30. This is a plus, super awesome! ! !

The May Day trip was a good experience. The service was very good. After booking, the hotel manager took the initiative to add me on WeChat and sent me a tour map, precautions, a Dong Village program, etc. After checking in, breakfast was given and a car was arranged to pick us up at the entrance of the Dong Village. After checking out at noon, we planned to continue the tour. The hotel could store our luggage and directly help deliver it to the agreed location in the village, which was very considerate and convenient. In terms of accommodation environment, the wooden house is quite special, clean and tidy overall, with terraced fields outside the window. The room is small, but I am still quite satisfied.

Great hotel, perfectly located in the front area of Zhaoxing village. The staff is very helpful and friendly. There’s even a coffee bar at the reception (which is rare in China) and something that I enjoyed a lot. The rooms are nice and clean, although not very spacious. But that was no issue for us. We absolutely enjoyed our stay and would book there again when we come back for another trip!
