Xishan Xinglv Inn

Overall good experience with the balcony room which I believe is worth it for the extra view and space: easy check-in as a foreigner, calm and peaceful environment, very close to restaurants and street food. I couldn't find the hotel at first so the lady came to get me at one of the bridges which was very nice of her. The hotel is just like the pictures and comments say : It is an inn in a small wooden village in the countryside, not a 5 star hotel in a big city so it's normal to come across 1 or 2 insects during the stay (as well as a mouse in my case but you just sometimes hear it in the walls, it never comes into the room and the hotel was dealing with it), and the few steps to reach the place is not a big deal for young people. I'm just taking off a few points on cleanness as it was a bit dirty under the beds.

Beautiful views, just know that you have to walk up the hill to get to the hotel.

Very good value for money. The amenities are not crazy new, but there is everything necessary and the view and location defines improve whole experience. The owner was very kind, picking us up - the location on trip is not very accurate, you might want to call them once in town.
