Hotel Flamingo

The sound of construction in the morning was so loud that it was uncomfortable Everything else is not bad

Good location. Breakfast is so so. The room is a bit old but sufficient for everything. Staff are helpful and polite. Laundry services seems not available and the nearest laundry store is of 10+mins walking distance.

The counter workers provided excellent services to my need. My room was dated but comfortable. A little far away from the Lisbon old town. Subway station is within 10 minutes walk from the hotel.

I am unsure how this can be called a 3 star hotel. It’s dirty, it has never been updated and upgraded. It’s more like a really bad hostel. I wouldn’t even give it a 1 star. I was appalled at the cleaness, the room quality and the overall dirtiness of the whole hotel. It’s loud and a lot of people use it as a party house. If this is your last resort, book it. Otherwise find somewhere else to stay.

The front desk guy told me that its not that type of hotel where you an get water and toothbrush. you have to buy it. he was hospitable but it wasn't enough. I asked for morning wakeup call no body came. they have no phones inside room but have reception call no. mention on welcome sheet. room smelled strongly of air freshener. window was unlocked. the outer window I locked myself. the inner window lock was broken. They were flexible about me checking out as they did not wake me up on time. they helped me with taxi to another location. I recommend this if you only want an emergency bed to sleep in for a day or two but if you add few more bucks you can have better option. This hotel is too expensive for this kind of service.

The service and breakfast was very good. I would really recommend other tourists to visit hotel flamingo in Lisbon
