It’s a lovely boutique hotel, with lovely staff and nice touches. In the heart of Lisbon , easy reach of many attractions , it’s a perfect base for a Lisbon city break except for those with mobility issues as there’s no lift and very steep stairs . A slightly weird layout as the reception is in the street behind the rooms , and accessed by a different door , the staff are very helpful and all becomes clear . The rooms are pleasant and clean , I suppose they are all slightly different , which is nice . Comfy beds, large bathroom with a window ( all double glazed ) just as well as this is a noisy part of town . Take a plug if you want a bath or to hold water in the basin . Great shower , hair drier , fridge in room , they will help with luggage if the stairs make it difficult. Nice continental breakfast , fresh fruit, yogurt and meats and cheeses . Perfect hotel for the able bodied in a great position .

We had a lovely stay at Casa Do Mercado Lisboa, the rooms are very comfortable. The breakfast room was very nice only thing was the tables are a bit to small other than that lovely. The food was very nice and fresh. Staff helpful. Hotel is close to many restaurants and the sights.

We stayed only one night in Lisbon this time, but really enjoyed our stay at Casa do Mercado. It is a charming B&B in the Chiado district and very close to Barrio Alto and many of Lisbon‘s charming sights. The rooms are renovated with charm too. Beside the good location and the comfortable rooms we were really impressed by the service. The lady at the reception was extremely nice and helpful with the check-in. We also asked recommendations on authentic places for lunch and Fado. Manuel gave us the best advice. We‘ll visit again when in Lisbon. Obrigado!

Great little hotel with excellent helpful staff. Duante the concierge was especially helpful and helped is with our luggage at check in and check out. He was also very knowledgeable about the area and good local restaurants. The hotel is in an old townhouse with wonderful original features. Our room was at the top of the house giving us fantastic views. We were within walking distance of a great variety of restaurants ( the Time Out food hall is a must !) Our room was extremely comfortable and well stocked. Breakfast was very nice served buffet style. All and all a great little find in Lisbon. Definitely recommend it if you are ok with stairs !! Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Wonderful hotel, spacious room, great location, very friendly staff. Had a great stay. Everything you want to see in Lisbon is close by, great to ramble around. Cocktails in the evening are a treat.

We spent an entire day with the concierge, Duarte Oliveira. He was everything in which you would want from a personal tour guide - very friendly, accommodating, and flexible. We expressed our ideas of what we wanted to do, he listened, and without hesitation, he put together a plan and followed through with our plan. He is so very proud of his country and it really showed when he took us to the popular Lisbon attractions. He is very well connected with individuals and store owners in and around Lisbon. Put simply, I would personally hire Duarte again when we go back to Lisbon. Please ask for his services when you stay in Casa Do Mercado!

Eine sehr gemütliche kleine Unterkunft, sehr freundliche und bemühte Gastgeber. Unglaublich bequemes Bett! Einziger Minuspunkt sind sie sehr dünnen Wände zwischen den Zimmern, da hört man wirklich jeden Schritt. Von der Straße haben wir keinen Lärm gehört. Die Lage ist gut, eine Tiefgarage befindet sich in unmittelbarer Nähe. Ein glutenfreies Frühstück war nach Voranmeldung problemlos möglich.
