I recently stayed at the Premier Inn and was extremely disappointed by the breakfast experience, particularly due to the conduct of a staff member named Diane. We arrived during the final 15 minutes of the breakfast service — well within the advertised hours — yet it was immediately clear that our presence was unwelcome. Diane did not greet us or offer any assistance; instead, she appeared visibly irritated. We overheard her complaining to a red-haired colleague about having to serve guests so close to the end of service, which was both unprofessional and inappropriate. The quality of the food was equally underwhelming. The eggs were rubbery, the bacon was overcooked and dry, and the sausages were cold and lacked flavour. What should have been a pleasant start to the day was instead an uncomfortable and frustrating experience.I hope this feedback is taken seriously, as the service we received from Diane does not reflect the level of hospitality typically associated with Premier Inn.
