The Malvern Hills Hotel

£11 for 2 orange and lemonades. Complete rip off! Even had to eat the orange slice to make it worth my money. I’d hate to think how much they charge for a pint. Wont be returning unless I win jackpot on the lottery or maybe I’ll be opting for tap water instead (they’d probably still charge me for that).

Booked on route to a memorial event in Weston Super Mare. Very friendly greeting, lovely comfortable room. Amazing service in the dining room by the young staff, they were very well trained and knowledgeable. The food was delicious. Definitely go back no faults whatsoever!

Booked to have a team lunch at the hotel for a group of 20 staff. From start to finish the experience was amazing. All staff were extremely helpful, very friendly, with nothing being too much trouble. The hotel itself is gorgeous, in a beautiful setting. Inside the hotel, it felt warm and inviting, as well as having a really lovely atmosphere. The dining area was light and laid out perfectly. The food was brought out efficiently. The waitressing staff were really nice and everything about the experience was seamless. The food was a taste sensation and very good quality. A huge well done to one and all for making our day a great one :)

I live in Malvern so am well aware of hotel offerings. My girlfriend lives out of town and I wanted to treat her to a cody dinner b and b and this hotel seemed to fit the bill. The pub and restaurant are nice enough but lacked the cosiness an open fire would bring. It appeared we were the only guests for dinner which is never good. There was a reasonably wide range of food on offer but limited starters. I chose beef brisket in a bourgignon sauce..Although the beef was tender it was very dry and clearly had not been cooked in its accompanying sauce. Very disappointing. I wanted a special room so booked a junior suite which had a nice view and had both shower and bath but no wow factor. On coming to have a shower in the morning the tap to operate the shower was completely broken off and was lying there in the soap dish. Very poor attention to detail so we could not take a shower. It appeared that just two rooms had been occupied that night so the hotel was hardly busy. Why oh why do hotels like this continue to use those cheap shsmpoo and shower gels. 1 tiny bottle of each between 2 adults. Penny pinching. Overall a very average stay which could have been so much better.

Very bright and airy dining room. Brilliant welcome and service. Food was excellent. We really enjoyed our meal and were thankful we had booked given that so many were being turned away. Could not recommend more highly. We were made to feel special even though it was very busy.

Very poor service with no excuse. We had our meals outside but after serving the meal there was no further contact from any member of staff at all, this is not acceptable. We all wanted further drinks and a desert but no interest shown at all. We were the only diners left outside but even though a young lady cleared a table nearby she never ever once even looked in our direction. It was if we were not there. At the end of the meal I went inside to see if they were busy, they were not and the manager, who had taken our order, was idly talking to a member of staff. One of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever come across.
