"Not a bad stay actually, my husband and I had no tangible problems really, the receptionist, Beth was lovely as well. (Except at breakfast, one of the staff was not really receptive, maybe because it was not pre-booked)"

"We had booked two rooms with a double and a single bed in both but when we arrived we were told are booking was for two rooms with one double in each as we had children as well was not best pleased hotel was great but spoilt the trip"

"this pub/hotel is situated in a beautiful spot near Delph; there are easy to reach walks amidst the beautiful surrounding hills. Oldham is close and a bus stop is just few minutes away from the hotel. There is a light breakfast at no extra cost included in the room price.

The food is excellent and the breakfast is plentiful.

"We checked in around 8:30 pm after a long journey from Canada and found that the kitchen was closed at 8 pm. Really disappointed! Anyhow, staff are friendly and helpful, room is cozy, breakfast is great. After checking out and got to our airbnb, my husband unpacked his suitcase and realized that he left his Tshirt in the room. We called and to our surprise we were told it was not there! How could that be? If it happened in Italy, we would be okay but this was at the pub hotel in little hamlet in Yorkshire!"
