Here for my family friend's birthday party and picked especially for its level car park and easy access since my friend is disabled. The young man behind the bar was an absolute treat! He was kind, and welcoming and made sure we were provided for and treated us all like queens. He was prompt with serving us and granted, it was empty that weekday evening, he could have just left us, but he didn't. He acted as if we were special guests which thrilled the birthday girl. The food was all delicious and the chef even came out with the cake at the end, lit up (all without asking him) and he, the sous chef and the bartender all sang happy birthday with us for my friend. Truly a great experience. The place was clean, the food was beyond your standard pub food - it was delicious. Furthermore, when the bar did start getting busy, we were never forgotten and the level of service remained excellent. I am pleased to say we will be returning and I want to give all the staff a big thank you from us all.

We booked to stay here as we were attending an event at Audley End House which is only a 15 minute walk away. The staff were friendly and the manager, Anna, was lovely. The room was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. The bar has a good selection of draught ales and the food was very nice and home made. We would definitely stay again

We stayed over for the quiz night and had a great night. Great food and very friendly staff made the night very enjoyable. Rooms were immaculate and with very comfortable beds. We also stayed for a roast the next day and they did not disappoint. All in all a great pub/inn. 10/10 would recommend.

Arrived at 5:30 and had booked a table which we were happy to wait until 6pm for (when the kitchen opened). Food finally arrived after 40 minutes, portions were very small and not overly hot but tasted good. Made the mistake of ordering a desert which took another 40 minutes which we were just about to cancel, pay and leave when it turned up. Luke warm and very stodgy, not at all worth £6.95. Two mains and two puddings took an hour and 20 minutes on a Friday evening when it wasn’t overly busy. Afraid to say it really ruined our evening. Only positive we’re the lovely staff.

I had a small retirement do here asking the pub to provide food and a few bottles of bubbly. The food laid on was fantastic: mini Yorkshire puddings with a small piece of steak in it, baby potatoes stuffed with baked beans and some stuffed with tuna, homemade sausage rolls, mini quiches, chicken wings, a big variety of sandwiches, a fruit platter and a variety of mini cakes. Everyone was raving about how good the food was. All washed down with some lovely cava. Great evening! We have been in to eat at other times as well. If you want a good steak, this is the place for it! We’ve had one or two here now. The price is reasonable too. We’ve been in for lunch and taken our dog with us. The place is very dog friendly and you can buy dog treat bags at the bar. There’s a pool table down one end which appeals to my son and a dart board. The pub often has live music events and we like to go to those. The staff are always friendly and I love having such a welcoming place just down the road from where I live.

Lovely pub/hotel to stay in, excellent service, lovely breakfast included, excellent price for room & we were very happy with room, was in very quiet area, the owners are very nice owners, be going back there next year.

My partner and I were staying with family over the weekend in Littlebury. We visited this great pub in the village for Sunday lunch. The staff were very welcoming, the food, drinks and service was excellent. Would thoroughly recommend a visit here, and will definitely return, when we come again next time we are in the area.

Very good value evening meal in the sheltered garden. Very friendly staff, quick service and food cooked freshly to order. Skin-on chips particularly good. The specials menu looked tempting too. Will be back soon.

First trip to the newly refurbished Queens Head. Garden, bar and facilities immaculate. Staff very friendly. Food tasty and well priced. Wine and beer good and refreshing. Will come again soon. Also gets a 5 Star for the chips from our Lab!
