Sgt Pepper’s Apartments

AVOID if offered a sofa bed. We had one bed and a sofa bed. The sofa bed was broken and being held together with tape. The mattress was flat as a pancake and it was absolutely rotten. The two girls sleeping on it had to put the mattress on the floor on the second night as the sofa bed was absolutely not fit for purpose but they still couldn't sleep. The apartment was meant to be for 4 people but there was only seats for 3 people. It's way too small to accommodate 4 guests. We'd stayed before and loved it but this time we won't be returning. They weren't interested at all when I rang to complain. The whole place is boiling hot and there is no ventilation at all. Not enough room or mirrors for us to get ready. One full length mirror with no lighting near by so had to do hair and make up in the kitchen. Really really disappointed.

Fantastic location, right above the cavern club on Matthews Street. It is loud at night, which was no bother for us but if you're looking for a quiet place to stay this one isn't for you. Very clean flat, plenty of spare sheets and towels. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Facilities were great there was a lovely sized bath and shower, and a big kitchen. Great stay, would definitely recommend.

Absolutely awful experience. I booked this hotel at the confirmed rate back in June 2024 to stay in may for last game of the season, only to now have them try and charge me an extra £1,500 due to what they say as a system update 10 months later. I know they have asked for more money due to other hotels charges thousands cause of the football. When I questioned the charge, they were incredibly rude and dismissive over the phone no apology, just attitude. When I refused to pay the unexpected amount, they cancelled my reservation with no warning, leaving me stranded and scrambling to find another place to stay. Totally unprofessional and unacceptable. Avoid this place at all costs

What can I say what an apartment spotless and a fantastic location in the heart of all the action . The apartment had everything will be returning soon .so spacious and finished to a very high standard.The reception staff were so helpful well done

We had booked 2 rooms for our party of 14. Our apartments weren't together but that was fine. It was very close to everything location was great, Cavern Club etc all in same street. The music however was very loud and vibrated the full building so if you want a good sleep maybe not for you. Place was very clean and fully equipped with everything we needed for the weekend. Lovely big bath and walk in shower. Nothing was a hassle for the owners when we needed something. Would definitely return.
