Hotel Bucaneve

We stayed here for our annual ski holiday in January . It was absolutely fabulous in every way ! Rooms - as we are a family of 7 we booked basic rooms but they were just beautiful! Done in wood with modern decor . Rooms cleaned so well every day . Fresh bathrobes every day too ! Food - it was just out of this world ! Probably one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in . Breakfast had about 8 different types of pastries !! I think I counted 4 types of croissant alone . Dinner was fit for a king ! There was a buffet and then a first and second course . Taste and presentation were top quality . Kids were just in awe of it all ! Desserts were incredible and from a buffet . The bread , ice cream and cheese were among the nicest we had ever eaten . One TINY criticism would be that buffet items tended to be cold - more heat lamps necessary. Still tatsted amazing though . Apres ski was nice but we would have loved a hot choice , like soup . Skiing - the boot room was great . Easy access , they gave us an extra locker . Shuttle bus was just wonderful and brought us to the slopes in style every morning . Ski hire shop is adjacent and they both deliver and collect the gear . Wellness - the star of the show . We spent two hours a day in this bliss . Really warm indoor and outdoor pools , looking up at the snowy mountains . Bubbles and jets , about 4 saunas , a steam room , plunge pool etc . Was AMAZING !!!! Staff - from booking onwards staff were kind and friendly and very helpful . Federica and Omar on reception deserve special thanks . Livigno is incredibly beautiful and we LOVED everything about Bucaneve . Trying to organise next year now . Best ski trip ever and we are skiing 15 years !

Overall a very good hotel with friendly staff, good food (a lot of choices breakfast and as well fine diner), great facilities (gym, swimming pool, wellness). Very clean rooms, maybe a negative comment is switching towels (almost) every day (not really environment friendly). staff at reception always willing to help guide with question on hiking, biking. Staff in restaurant very friendly and explaining diner if something is not clear. So overall great

Fantastic hotel, really nice food and very friendly staff ! Rooms are spacious and clean. We had a very pleasant stay in hotel Bucaneve !!!

Tips : a bench to sit in the sun at the front of the hotel, whilst waiting for the shuttle service. Recyclable hotel slipper Display prices of jewellery in the hotel Shuttel bus service to return from the piste back to the hotel. Overall very happy about our stay. We appreciate the swimming pool and sauna, massage, rooms, food is much better than last year and service also much better. Very good beds and we loved the romantic evening; See you next year!

One of the couples was not happy with their room. The 3 couples booked a junior suite, but there was a big difference in the rooms. The food was good, but in the menu to choose you could put sometimes a more classic and not too complicated dish. The salad bar was fantastic! The breakfast too! Congrats and thank you to the nice personnel!

Great hotel, nice rooms and staff, excellent food. Location little far from ski schools. Bus transfer can be better.
