Wonderful experience all around! We stayed at Al Forte for 7 nights during our ski vacation to the Superski Dolomiti resorts. It’s 5 minutes outside the center of Arraba, a nice, quiet place to come home to at the end of the ski day. This was just what we were looking for, being more focused on skiing during the day and less on the party life at night. The free hotel shuttle vans are available for trips into town, a super-convenient service as we did not have a car. We especially loved the warm and friendly staff who were so welcoming and ready to help! The service always felt personal and genuine. Our stay included half-board (breakfast and dinner). They offered a great selection in the breakfast buffet and the dinner food choices each night were varied and delicious. Not just 1 or 2 choices, but 5 or 6 first courses and mains, plus dessert. We looked forward to our meals and didn’t feel the need to go out hunting for other places to eat. One highlight is that on Thursday evenings they have a special Ladin Dinner with all the courses featuring local heritage dishes. The hotel itself is built on a restored fort (hence the name), some rooms are more modern than others, I believe. Our room was on the lower floor with a small balcony overlooking a lovely view of the mountains. We loved it. Would definitely come back to Al Forte again!

This was our 2nd stay at Al Forte having had such a wonderful holiday last year we returned with 2 friends. The hotel is full of character being a former Fort offering a very pleasant environment throughout. The spa has a lovely steam room and sauna which are very welcome after a long day skiing the magnificent Sella Ronda. Food was delicious and very well prepared and all the staff were extremely friendly and helpful Although a little outside Arabba the regular free shuttle bus meant that this wasn't a problem.

Lovely hotel in the mountains. Staff were friendly and attentive. The food was good and the shuttle bus to the slopes was super efficient. We would stay again. Part of the building is a converted 19th century military fort so that gives the place a bit of character

Sadly just come to the end of a fantastic stay at Al forte. One of the best places we’ve ever stayed! Historic building, Great room, Great Spa, Fantastic food, we stayed half board; both breakfast and dinner were delicious Super-efficient on-demand ski transfer am and pm to Arabba.. never waited all week! Best of all, super staff, receptionists, drivers and especially dining staff. We have been made to feel very welcome and enjoyed a great ski trip Highly recommended! The skiing was awesome too!

For 14 years, we have been coming to this hotel. It is cozy and "gemutlich". The welcome and the whole service is excellent. The rooms and wellness are very comfortable. The food is fine. The shuttle to the slopes works great. The hotel itself radiates history.

Very nice hotel with kind staff and client oriented service. We had a 1 day delay in our trip. Despite late notification they offered us to move our trip by 1 day free of charge which is really kind. Guido (he is doing everything but mainly serving in the bar and restaurant) made us feel welcome from the first minute. Super cool. Breakfasts was kind of usual self-served tables with porridge veg and eggs, but dinners are exceptional (IMO). Also good to stay with kids. Although there are nothing to do around the hotel (no place to walk around), they have a taxi-bus which can take you to Arabba and back any time during the day free of charge. Does not look like a good place to stay for disabled ppl as hotel is build in the 19th century forte and has multilevel design without elevators.

Very nice food, convenient ski buss shuttle to the slopes, very nice staff, great sauna and spa area. Perfect for family’s, and a very warm and inviting personal feeling. The breakfast buffet has everything you might want!
