Would have given a 4.5 rating if I could have. Have stayed in lots of hotels across Sella Ronda. First time in Arabba and the Sporthotel. Very well positioned for access to slopes (Burz) - lifts on other side are bit of a trek but you can get the Arabba fly chairlift. Hotel lovely, very homely and food was excellent. Just the right amount of choice. Found the checkin process a bit disappointing - felt like we were checking in for one night to a big budget hotel not for a week to a family run hotel. Weren’t very friendly and no help offered taking luggage to room. Didn’t try the spa facilities, no swimming pool but large hot tub. Accessibility to the ski room was excellent - lift from all floors - although it busy at certain times of the day. Heated ski lockers were great and are opened by room key card. We had a comfort room - it was large bit dated but this doesn’t bother us when we’re skiing and I think they are in process of updating all the rooms. Only problem I have is putting wooden floors in hotel bedrooms - can make it noisy from above, below and around. Had large balcony off our room overlooking the slopes. (Ask for room at back not overlooking the road). Room had kettle so was nice to have morning coffee on the balcony. Would prefer proper mugs not plastic ones though. Found the mattress and pillows quite hard. We had sunny skiing all week which was great (apart from slope back to hotel which got really churned up early afternoon). Would definitely return to Arabba and the Sporthotel.

Great time with our five year old granddaughte. The hotel is in an excellent position for skiers, everything is very carefully arranged and clean. Very friendly and helpful staff, good brekfast and delicious dinner with large selection of vines. Attractive bar and lounge area with live music most nights. We will definitely come back and recommend it to others.

We did not stay in the hotel but came into the restaurant. It was way over priced for the money. Buffet of starters was cold and almost inedible. I would not recommend coming into the restaurant. Maybe if you are staying in the hotel and have the meals included it would be okay. However, there are much better places in town to eat.

Very friendly stuff and good food. Good prices and after skiing relaxation in sauna and swimming poll. I was amazed because I was able to be totally alone in a poll and sauna because I return from the skiing early. It is nice that’s hotel close to skiing area.

Good hotel in a good location. Just a short walk across the rd to the chair lift or down some steps across to the gondolas. Staff on the whole very good. Good sized room with balcony. Great room service. Restaurant. Good breakfast & evening meal offered a varied menu (almost too much to eat!). Comfortable bar/lounge area. Music most nights. Good ski/boot room. Spa area was good apart from uncontrolled children being allowed in after 4pm! Would recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

This is a truly wonderful hotel, I cannot recommend it highly enough. We had a wonderful week here over half term February 2024. The hotel isn’t perfect, nothing is, but the few areas that aren’t perfect are more than made up for by the amazing staff who you could tell all wanted us to have a fantastic holiday – the head waiter and the barman/sommelier being stand out all round amazing. The food is spectacular and I compliment all the kitchen team on producing such delicious food every evening (ski pants were a bit tight at the end of the week!). The communal areas of the hotel have been beautifully refurbished, while still keeping the traditional, ornate alpine wooden panelling. It shouldn’t work, but it does. The rooms still have largely original décor but are so well appointed it doesn’t matter – you’re only in there to sleep and shower! I particularly appreciated the tea making facilities – fresh milk available from the bar and could be stored in the mini bar fridge. It was so lovely to have a cup of tea in bed at night. The shower was good, towels large (but not very fluffy) and there was hand/hair/body wash and body lotion (no conditioner) as well as a shower cap and a few cotton buds. I didn’t use the hairdrier as I brought my own but my daughter did and said it wasn’t very powerful. The nightly turndown service with a sweet (and a delicious Lindor heart on Valentine’s day) was a lovely luxury. If you like a firm bed this will be perfect for you – I don’t, so I put the blanket provided under the sheet and it made the bed softer but I didn’t sleep very well for the week (possibly exacerbated by the wine and the altitude!). We had a duvet each and they were fluffy and warm. Unusually, there was plenty of storage space in the wardrobe and drawers for all our ski gear, as well as a balcony (we overlooked the Burz lift) and a chair. The cleaning staff were excellent -the hotel was immaculate. It felt like our sheets and towels were changed every day (which was lovely but actually unnecessary if that was the case, for environmental reasons we’d be happy with a once/twice a week change). Location couldn’t have been better. Out the ski room door, and around 25 metres to the piste, with a ski down to the Burz lift (largeish queues in the morning but they soon eased). The ski room is small with few places to sit, so it did get a bit congested but it was fine. Each room has a lockable locker with heated boot storage – bliss! There’s also a servicing point with screwdrivers etc if you need to maintain your skis. The spa was good too – with a steam room, two saunas and a jacuzzi. My husband and daughter had a massage which they said was excellent, though I cannot recommend my pedicure (sitting on a treatment bed is very uncomfortable) although the therapist was lovely. The only real negative things I can say about the hotel is that the WiFi is poor – I could send messages but there wasn’t enough signal strength to log in to my work inbox s

So good we've booked for next year! Hotel was fantastic; really cosy, food was amazing and a great bar with singers every evening. We did a wine tasting one evening which did not disappoint. Staff were v.friendly and helpful. Thanks especially to Simona and Giovanni who looked after us. Superb location, chairlift across the road and on a cracking point on the Seela Ronda circuit. Make the most of it and enjoy the local slopes first thing before the Sella Ronda crowds arrive.

Great time with family exploring the Dolomites ski area. Loved the vast expanse of runs - lots of intermediate runs. The hotel spa offered a variety of services which we took advantage of. The food was delicious. Enough variety for all - even our vegetarian family. Very comfortable rooms.
