Popular Ljubljana 4-star Hotels

Service is acceptable for a 4 star hotel, but due to public holiday long weekend, restaurant that serving breakfast was too busy and no food left and very slow to refill

Booked because of the four points name however am disappointed. Housekeeping really needs improvement. Dirt between the grout n dust…, I expect better. Soundproofing is horrible! I can hear next room talking and their door opening closing. Floors are squeaky too

The location is very good, inside the pedestrian street, the sights can be reached on foot. There is an underground toll parking lot. It is funny that after we check out, we can drive directly to the card and can’t go out. We rushed to the hotel and asked to know, after 20 minutes of check-out!

I stayed at the Union Hotel before. In comparison, this hotel has a lot of new facilities, modern feel, and very cost-effective. I like this hotel in terms of the environment. The Union’s breakfast is excellent

Very nice hotel with perfect good location. The room is clean and tidy . Air conditioner works so well ( it is quite important during summer time) The gym is so good but the equipment is a bit old. Staffs are helpful. Breakfast is good with many choices. Only one drawback is the bell sounds at night , rings every 30 mins . Except this, hotel is prefect .

The hotel was nice and rooms were very spacious. We had a family suite with 2 king size beds. One tv. Nice breakfast, plenty of options. Coffee machine in room. Cons -No parking, we had to walk 10 min for the closest parking and it cost $3 a day. The hotel has the info. - 10 minute drive to the center of the city

Austria Trend Hotel is a hotel that is extremely well managed. The people at reception were especially helpful to me in using the computer to write an article. The room is extra large with a beautiful view of the country side and the window opens so one can get fresh air. The maid was especially through in cleaning the room. The restaurant offered a varietz of dishes and the waiter was very nice. The bus stops right in front of the hotel and with a card it is easy to get to the downtown area. They also have a spa and masssages available but I simply did not have the opportunity to use them. I definitely recommend staying at Austria Trend Hotel.

Especially worthy of collection, very amazing, all details are very good. In the central area of the city, everything is convenient; very close to the central bus station, it is easy to arrange city access; a restaurant with local Slovenian dishes on the main road from the hotel is very affordable and delicious. The breakfast prepared by the hotel staff is exquisite and varied. The room is a suite, convenient to use, quality, kitchen and direct drinking faucet. In short, especially recommended!

Had a nice stay at this hotel but the hotel has some issues. Biggest one of them being parking and carrying luggage to the hotel as there is no way you can park closer to the hotel. On top of it, its a cobbled street. Say goodbye to you bag wheelies… Secondly, being a 4star property, i would atleast expect a 24hr reception desk. Had a call from trip.com office regarding my eta to the hotel as they would close the reception desk after 10pm and we wouldnt be able to check-in if there is no staff. Thankfully staff stayed late as our flight was super delayed (Perfect easyjet moment) and checked us in before we could head out and get dinner which was past 10:45pm and almost none of the restaurants were serving dinner. So much for the first magical evening in Ljubljana!!!! Thirdly, there is no lift being an old building which is self explanatory, but travellers with heavy luggage should be warned in advance. Fourthly, as for the breakfast we expected a proper coffee from a 4star property, but instead there is only a small coffee machine which dispenses coffee on button press. Guys the coffee isnt nice. I would rather head downstairs to the main street with plenty of cafes around. Breakfast itself is just standard, nothing whao. For hot breakfast there is only one option - eggs (served 4 ways) wasnt great, wasnt bad! Now for the good part, hotel is nicely decorated, clean, rooms are spacious, coffee machine and kettle inside the room. Clean towels, Comfy beds! A complimentary bubbly waiting for you in the fridge, somehow they knew you are exhausted from carrying your bags from the end of the street to the hotel and upstairs!!! 😫 3.5 stars.
