Excellent in every respect! Warm welcome, lovely and comfortable room with great en-suite. Tasty breakfast and great service from the staff. Secure parking, highly recommended and if we need to go to Llandudno again, we know where there's a great place to stay!

The hotel is amazing with a good location,. Wonderful friendly owners and staff. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The breakfast was good and and filled you up, also the most wonderful hot drinks machine, which made brilliant drinks and was very reasonable priced. The cleaners did an amazing job of keeping the room clean. I was greeted by our own reserved parking space at the rear of the hotel which I was super impressed by. I would recommend this hotel to anybody going to Llandudno. You will not be disappointed. A sign on the building says arrive as guests and leave as friends and that’s about right. Read less

Firstly let me say the hotel was very clean and the breakfast was good, apart from that there were several issues : We arrived about 2 pm in the afternoon and knew that check- in was from 3 pm. However, we would have been happy to sit in reception after a long drive but the door was locked until 3 pm. We had booked a sea view room for 2 people but our first disappointment was the small room. There was no wardrobe, only one chair and the twin beds had been pushed within 6” of each other. There was only a small space at the bottom of the beds to pass by and it was difficult to avoid hitting our heads on the low wall mounted TV. The en-suite was very small with absolutely no ventilation both windows having been painted shut. Only one window in the room itself could be opened for the same reason.

Sarah and Berin are excellent hosts,lovely people and very accommodating. The hotel is spotlessly clean, warm and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. We had an excellent room with a full view of the bay. Super breakfast and nothing is too much trouble. Lovely family run hotel that I would recommend to everyone Ps. They have a very good selection of spirits on the bar. Good stuff!!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at The Shelbourne. The hotel is clean and so welcoming. We have never met nicer people! Berin went way out of his way when I wasn’t feeling well and his kindness will stay with us. Breakfast was delicious and the views outstanding! Thanks for the great stay!
