"On arrival the receptionist was very helpful, Room was clean , beds comfortable ,we found the room very warm and was unable to open the window room 311, not a very view from this room. Hotel was full so unable to get another room . We had evening meal in the restaurant .food was excellent, and our waiter was very helpful. We had breakfast the following morning, but found that the bacon and black pudding was overdone as was the fried egg. But we should of waited for the Fresh cooked food to come out of the kitchen. Idid mention this to the waitress. Breakfast was the only downside to our stay"

"Booked last minute, had a Seaview room which was a bonus and made our trip. Service slow in bar, got two bottles of white which were only just chilled but the night porter was an absolute angel. Good location and not far to walk to pubs and bars. Parking outside is limited but cheap after 6pm-10am at 20p for 16 hours."
"We just had an overnight stay but everything went swimmingly. Smooth, friendly chech in; lovely room with good space, two comfy arm chairs and a good view, spotlessly clean room and bathroom. Parking was easy. Nice restaurant with good choice of menu. Chef clearly respects his vegetables. Exceeded expectations."
"Good service. The hotel is located at the hill top and has a good sea view. Very closed to the tram station and cable car station with lots of restaurants nearby."
"The seaside hotel is really nice. The rooms are clean, the breakfast is delicious and plentiful, and the staff are very attentive. Plus, you can watch TV shows and movies from other OPP platforms right on the TV."

GGuest UserThe location is very good, right next to the pier, with sainsbury's local and many restaurants nearby. Staffs are kind and polite, and took the initiative to introduce us to sightseeing spots.
The toilet is a bit small, and the hot water is unstable. Shampoo and shower gel are provided, but need to bring own toothbrush and toothpaste.
GGuest UserThe hotel is not far from the beach, although it is not directly facing the beach, but you can still see the hotel facilities. Although it is a bit old, it is still clean. The room has free costa coffee capsules. Milk and mineral water in the refrigerator are free 15 pounds per person. The breakfast is also very good with a sea view The price-performance ratio of this hotel is still very recommended. There are many restaurants when you go out. It takes only 2 minutes to walk to the small train on Mount Ohm
GGuest UserThe location is at a crossroad and it is still a bit far away from the seaside on foot. There is a large free parking lot. The accommodation is a separate entrance behind the bar. I like the design of the spiral staircase very British style. The room is exquisite and comfortable with an old small fan. The restaurant downstairs was fully booked. They arranged for us to sit in the corner of the bar for dinner. The products were very good. I personally prefer the decoration and atmosphere of the bar. It was a very pleasant night! The breakfast on the second day is half a la carte, that is, the cold cuts are self-service and the a la carte hot food is still exquisite and delicious😋... Overall very good, especially recommended to friends who want to experience a bar-type hotel!
GGeoffreySoon has we walked into the Premier inn, Llandudno,
We were welcomed by a pleasant, polite ,friendly young man,
Booked in, in seconds,he told us our options for meals,
The room was nice and tidy and very quiet. The staff working on the bar were polite also. The young lady on reception in the morning ( has we were leaving)was pleasant and polite too. Overall a great stay.
GGuest UserWe needed a little break from the norm during COVID so managed to secure a two night break away at The Marlborough. We was greeting by a friendly gentleman who went through all the covid secure processes and checked us in efficiently. We had a double and a single room, the double looked recently refurbed and was clean and comfortable. The single was very small, but as this was just for two nights it wasn't a problem, any longer and it would have been too small in my opinion. Rooms had a clean and spacious bathroom and each rooms had tea and coffee making facilities. The hotel was quiet given the situation with COVID but the bar was open and despite being the only ones who seemingly used the bar, the staff were always on hand to serve us drinks as we required. We found the two members of the evening team we encountered to be very friendly and chatty... friendly and welcoming staff make all the difference. The hotel is fairly dates yes, but its clean and comfortable so its no problem. We did find one or two negatives... The hotel were kind enough to reserve us a car parking space at the rear of the hotel, the spaces are VERY tight and have steel bollards folded into each space which I know damaged a fellow guests tyres. Simply remove a space and allow for 4 cars to park comfortably rather than 5 cars far too close. The lift was an experience. We could not get the 3 of us in the lift with our little cases, and we are not big people. It was very cramped and the lift was old a rickety and didnt quite reach the third floor - it feel short by around 8 inches. I never used the lift again as i didnt trust it but my mom did as she would have struggled with the stairs. Lastly, my biggest gripe was breakfast. I always feel that in a Bed and Breakfast, the breakfast is a real opportunity to shine. Sadly the Marlborough allowed this opportunity to pass. The full English breakfast is ok... there wasn't a lot of anything on the plate and what there was on the plate, was obviously cheap. Really disappointing. As you couldnt self serve, you was issued a tiny glass of juice of your choice and of course tea or coffee. The whole experience was underwhelming and prevented us from making dinner reservations with the hotel for that evening. Also the service in the breakfast room was quite over bearing. You couldn't sit and enjoy your coffee and toast, you had everything thrown at you the moment you walked in and then cleared away the moment you swallowed the last bite. Far too much and really spoilt things. 4 stars given here due to the staff we encountered in the evenings being so nice and for the hotel and rooms being clean and comfortable. For the money paid, it represented good value despite the odd negative. I would return but eat out for breakfast and park elsewhere.
MMichaelGreat hotel, the lady at reception was friendly and helpful. The booking website missed mentioning that we had a small dog with us, however, the nice lady at reception explained that to us. Instead of turning us down, she let us stay. Thank you
GGuest UserThe room temperature cannot be adjusted. The biggest problem is that the water temperature is too cold. At first I thought it was broken and there was no hot water. After the background reset, it was the same. The water temperature system could not be used for showering. In the end, I gave up. I just stayed for one night.

KKseniaMy dad and I stayed at Bryn Y Don in Llandudno, and it was lovely! The location is spot-on—really close to the promenade and the pier and everything we wanted to see. The staff were super friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was served right on time every morning, and it was tasty and fresh. Overall, very nice place to stay at.
GGuest UserA lift available to all floors, room was nice and clean, en-suite was also clean and tidy with underfloor heating, which was a nice surprise., reception area was nice and tidy too, shown how to use the front door as it gets locked in the evening. Chose to eat breakfast at the hotel, full breakfast from £8.50p with a vegetarian option, no evening meals available but other hotels near by and some pubs serve food. Saturday morning I went around the Great Orme it really does have fantastic views, benches are dotted around so you can sit and take in the views.
AAnonymous UserThis hotel was good value for what was paid. I managed to get a free parking spot in front of the building, which was a bonus (parking behind the hotel is £6), and further up the street, paid street parking begins. It’s about a 15 to 20 minute walk to the pier, which was convenient. The room was basic but clean and comfortable. There was some scaffolding up right outside the window, which wasn’t ideal, but I was pleasantly surprised to get an ocean view for the price. The only real issue was the shower, which was difficult to get to a comfortable temperature, swinging between too hot and too cold, though there were warning signs. Overall, a solid budget option.
