This hotel looks almost derelict from the outside. It was in need of paint and new signage. Inside is a different story. The staff are pleasant and friendly and the room was clean and decent. We were offered the meal deal for The Pemberton restaurant next door. Don't take it!! It was £26 for 2 courses &an additional £3 for a drink. The starters are in average £6, the mains £12-15 so you have overpaid. The drink is a little cheaper but is quite limited in choice. The food was ok but not restaurant quality. I had a chicken curry which tasted like a microwave dinner. Breakfast is served in this restaurant and the hot options are taken by order not as a buffet option. It was typical Premier Inn choices and the food was fine.

The room was very clean and tidy when we arrived. It was also very cold as the heating was not on. In the middle of March the outside temp was low. The heater controls in the room made no difference and I had to go down to reception to ask the staff to sort it out. They quickly adjusted the temp by means of a control panel, and the room soon heated up. We enjoyed a fabulous cooked breakfast in the morning. I would have no hesitation staying there again.

Disabled parking, cars without disabled Badges meaning I had to park in normal Spaces even though I use wheelchair, cars blocking path and emergency service acces. Interior walls and carpets need updating and painting. Extra pillows are suppose to be sealed but it's where not meaning they where used. Towels could also do with being replaced. could do with Some body Important going to Stay there undercover.

Stayed for 2 nights, room fine but a little dated, outside of building needs attention could do with coat of paint. On arrival no one at reception must be short staffed as he was covering restaurant too, like this every time you walked through reception never seen this before in Premier Inns, but he was pleasant. Had breakfast both days this is where you have let yourselves down, quiet on first morning, had to ask for orange juice, and milk it continued like this supplies not topped up, toaster needs throwing in bin bread comes out the same as when it went in … white, day 2 no white bread available at 10am or mushrooms which is ridiculous, had to have sausages recooked a bit pink inside. Mushrooms are now boiled instead of fried which were not nice, breakfast not as good as it used to be and was looking forward to it after all we are away and it was a treat. Others were also saying supplies weren’t good we chatted at coffee machine. I like staying at Premier Inn but you do need a few tweaks here and there to get it back to its original standard

Stayed here as a stop over whilst travelling. The staff on the front desk were very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean, although still uses traditional keys which was unusual to see and showed its age a little. Parking was good with plenty of spaces. Breakfast in the attached restaurant could have been been as the staff member seemed fed up of working and not particularly welcoming. But the hotel it’s self is lovely and very reasonably priced!

Have stayed here many times over the years and always had a great time. We always meet up with cousins and family members and even made new friends. So you can imagine our disappointment to be greeted with the bar is for residents only. We could not understand why the once vibrant busy bar and restaurant was empty. The beer was expensive. Then we waited ages to be served (not like it was busy) The food was poor qualiry and for the price you would expect it to be fresh not microwaved poppadoms and a grisly chicken pie with a sprinkle of cheese on top. Sounded delicious on the description what a let down. Before we would have enjoyed a fillet steak at the beefeater. The lovely breakfast we used to enjoy and have never faulted was another let down the bacon was flavourless and flat cold. If I had wanted a basic hotel I would have stayed elsewhere. Such a disappointment and would think twice before I ever stay again luckily there was a great bar over the road where we met the family and we wished we had dined there instead.

The location is probably the best thing about this. The outside is worn and could do with a good pressure wash whilst the rooms are knocking on abit - lots of marks in the walls and the toilet struggled to flush. The restaurant is a waste of time, absolutely no stock kept at all to the point i spent more time going back and fourth to the one member of staff in there then eating, and she wasn’t able to provide me with anymore of the continental breakfast items as they had to save them for the next day. Save your money and don’t eat here

Sadly the adjoining pub, The Pemberton, is no longer a Beefeater (the food was still fine, although the choice of drinks has slipped), apparently there are plans to convert the pub into more accommodation, I'm not sure why, I cannot imagine that Llanelli is exactly the first choice for holiday makers. Nothing against it, and The Pemberton and the adjoining Premier Inn are conveniently situated in my case for work and it does seem very popular with people travelling for business (contractors, motorsport teams, etc.), but there is plenty of accommodation already (although perhaps in need of a little updating) and the pub itself was always pleasant with pleasant although very hard working (and doubtless under paid) staff. On this occasion I booked well in advance and was lucky enough to pay less than £50 so value was fine, normally a room is over £100 (substantially more if you include breakfast) so the usual grumbles of having to pay for any more than one device on WiFi and very little in room hospitality (tea, coffee etc) apply. I hope that The Pemberton and the Premier Inn will be restored as it deserves better from its owners (Whitbread take note).
