We've stayed here twice now - February and March 2022, with three weeks between stays. Hoping to climb Pen-y-Fan in February we found a yellow weather warning got in the way of our plans so we returned in March. It didn't occur to us to look for anywhere else to stay - we'd enjoyed our first stay so much. At the times we stayed breakfast wasn't available, however there are plenty of options locally. Our rooms were comfortable and well presented - I was expecting a Tudor theme, so that was a nice surprise. First time we stayed in the Elizabeth II room, second time Mary I - both great, but personally I preferred Mary I. The bar downstairs is a nice place to relax after a day out - the locals are friendly and are happy to chat, the juke box has a good selection of tunes and it's just a really nice village pub. It's a dog friendly hotel and pub, the staff are lovely and there is free parking. Hoping to return in June.

Having visited many times. If you are in the Llangadog area and enjoy great real ale, fine drinks, good company and service with a smile then you have to visit the Red Lion in Llangadog. Leane, Jade and the locals will always welcome you with a smile!

Really quaint hotel.Friendly staff.Reasonable rates.Amazing food.Room lovely, but fan on top of wardrobe full of dust and cobwebs in room.Apart from that had an enjoyable stay. Not much in village, only a few shops but if it's a rural area you want then it's perfect.

Lovely pub food and friendly staff ! No breakfast offered but Llandeilo and Llandovery not far with cafes so that wasn’t an issue. The room was a good size as was the bathroom - four poster comfortable bed but if you want a premier inn type hotel this isn’t for you - it is not modern . The hotel is what I would call ‘oldy worldly ‘ but with lots of character . Unfortunately there is no garden just an outdoor sitting area at the back of the hotel . I would visit again - the village is very quiet but plenty of walks from the hotel .

We stayed her for the weekend, very accommodating to ourselves as we arrived late. The room was massive with a four poster bed and a bath. They had everything we could require, even supplied us with a dog bed for the pooch. Which was very much appreciated. Only down side was there was no food available when we stayed, which was a shame. But they where very good at recommending a pub next door. Which was excellent.

Lovely room, was not expecting the Tudor decor but it was a lovely surprise! The bed was super comfortable and there was plenty of storage. Good shower pressure and they provided excellent amenities to use.
