Stayed for two nights - ok, but if more, then not worth it. The hotel needs renovation. Very dim lighting in the room. Towels and bed linen were not changed. Breakfasts are ok.

Delicious breakfast from the menu. Hospitable staff. But the main minus for me is that the hotel DOES NOT HAVE ITS OWN BEACH OR ACCESS TO THE SEA!!! Lots of sun loungers with umbrellas, but they are in the shade of trees, you won't be able to sunbathe, and there is no descent to the sea! They are trying to strengthen the shore with bags. As a result, you had to go to the beach to the left, not far at all, but the shore there is dirty, a lot of garbage, since the beach is public and no one cleans it. You had to pay for sun loungers and an umbrella to neighboring hotels or cafes on the shore. Because of this, I was very disappointed with the hotel and Gili Air as a whole.

Service close to zero: totally disorganized - dirty beach (never cleaned during our stay. - The furniture is abandoned (broken parasols, dirty deck chair mattresses). - Beach "towel shortage" all day while we are in high season, how is this possible??? - Most of the time there is no one at the reception desk so you always have to wait for everything. This beach service has a superb swimming spot in Gili and is no longer the one we have. known in 2015 and 2019. Frankly, I will offer to pay my bill in line with the salary of the interns who do not speak a word of English and who probably represent 70% of the staff. Scallywags is a nice hotel with beautiful houses very close to the beach. You can sit comfortably on the terrace. Drinking water in the room is unlimited. The breakfast offers sufficient choice and is tasty. You can have breakfast on the beach where the hotel also has sunbeds and parasols. The beach and sea are fine

Nice cottage and very good location. The staff very nice, a demolition anyway: the bungalow had an unpleasant smell of humidity! We slept with the doors and windows open! It spoiled our stay a bit. Too bad because the rest was perfect.
