We stayed for three nights in this hotel. It is in an excellent location in the centre of London and is close to Monument tube station. We requested a twin room but after we checked in we discovered that the room was only made up for one person. After waiting 20 mins at reception behind a big group of people checking in, we were given a new room. The room was made up correctly this time, but we had an issue with the room door not shutting properly. It did shut if you manoeuvred the handle in a certain way but it would have been very easy to close the door without it locking. The room was spacious but not particularly well laid out. The standard premier inn desk was gone which I must admit I preferred over the round table put in its place. We ate at the hotel on the evening we checked in, our server Shamin was excellent and was friendly and informative. I did feel sorry for him as they seemed very short staffed and he was rushed off his feet. The food was nice, but the steak wasn’t seasoned and was rather bland. Overall I would recommend staying at this hotel, the rooms were clean and quiet, and the location is perfect for a city break.
