The room was comfortable & clean. Plenty of choice for breakfast. Staff helpful & pleasant.
It’s quite near the tourist area of The Tower of London etc & I was there to visit Tower Hill Memorial
of Mercantile losses @ sea are honoured from both World Wars.

Very good, hotel facilities are also good, but the card is always failed to swipe, running up and down many times and then reprogram the card for about three times before successfully swipe the door

The hotel is next to the railway. My first night stay was in a room with a railway view. I was woken up by the trains around 4 am. The staff was nice and moved me to a room on the other side. However, on the fifth (?) day of my stay, I noticed that the tap water was not clean. I showed the photos of the water (attached) and provided the glass of water (in the photo) to the staff in the morning. The same day evening, I asked about the problem and was told to wait for the manager in the morning. Amelia, the manager, was friendly. She said that the water was normal. She drank the water form the tap as a proof that the water was safe. And she provided me a new kettle.

Came for Mother’s Day weekend with my mum and stayed for 3 nights from Friday 28th. Enoch & Anirudh spent the entire Friday night serving us with nothing but smiles (and vodka :)) as well as Sunday and we had the best time. They are fantastic at what they do, they welcomed us and made us feel comfortable in our surroundings by being friendly and hospitable. They went above and beyond and we will be staying again - thank you guys :))))

The odd numbered rooms on the fourth floor are adjacent to a huge set of railway tracks with trains going past every 30-90 seconds from about 5am. I assume it's the same for all the other floors. The noise is horrendous. The rooms are not sound proofed and earplugs won't save you. Don't stay here if you actually want to sleep.

First room the shower was broken to the point that it burnt my hand we had to argue to be moved. We got moved the room was super hot and the window couldn’t be opened and the staff left the fan on. Third was ok but was still a mess and loud.

We stayed at Aldgate East for our wedding anniversary trip to London. There was a couple of broken plug sockets in our room and the bathroom was dirty and badly maintained, as was the hotel lift. Our main issue was the empty breakfast buffet and the 20 min wait for them to bring out a very small amount of food… nowhere near enough to feed the customers.

Simple, clean and great location. You can get to central easily and there is a lot of trains near by. There is restaurants and bars close by. There is a bar with great selection and good prices. Overall good experience Friendly staff, Hasan made our check in Great!
