Great front office support from Dinesh and Simran at the London Central Southwark Travelodge. They understood my concerns and catered to my needs with respect. They were very communicative about my requirements and comfort. Would love to come back to stay!

The stay at the hotel was very nice. The rooms were very well kept and the breakfast service was also good. The location is very good, hotel located next to southwalk station and waterloo station. Bhanu at reception was the most helpful staff as well.

A big thank you to Dinesh for going above and beyond during our stay at Travelodge. We really appreciated the extra milk for our teas – such a small gesture but it genuinely made us feel looked after. And shoutout for the amazing hair dryer too – finally one powerful enough to dry my hair without taking all morning! The room was spotless, the bed was comfy, and Dinesh’s friendly attitude made us feel really welcome – you’re a star, Dinesh! We’ll definitely be back.

This hotel has got rooms next to train tracks and trains are frequent. I wonder how one can sleep? While booking the room, your website doesn’t give the option of quiet room. On check-in, staff gave us an accessible room with low fitting in bathroom with no place to keep toiletries and bathroom floor becomes so wet after a shower. We were not informed of this. The staff had told us that it was an upgraded and quiet room. Frustratingly this room was close to train track. We were not happy with this experience. We asked for a different room and were willing to pay for the change and upgrade. Staff was not forthcoming and said there was no room available despite we shared with him the travelodge website showing rooms available. But he kept insisting that his computer did not show any room. This was so unprofessional. Rather he said if it is available we could book as new booking and forfeit the money of already booked room. Whole experience was hugely annoying. However, when we wanted to speak to a manger, another room was allocated to us. We know it was economical hotel at that point of time but I would not prefer to stay in this hotel again. Staff do not need to be mean and unprofessional behaviour towards customers.
