Cheap affordable and nice. We stayed here for 2 nights for our London stay as it was cheap and affordable along with it being so close to the things we wanted to see while we were down here. The room was a decent size and clean, while we stayed there was no problems however the only thing is you can hear the trains go past but after a while you tend to hardly hear them due to getting use to it.

Nice and clean very compact room. Very central to our location. If you are staying here I would recommend earplugs because it is practically on top of the Victoria station railway and trains run till around 1:30 and start again at 4:30. I would not stay here again because of the noise and lack of sleep. The photo attached shows how close the trains are to our bedroom.

The average score is based on having a good room the first night and a bad one the second. We would definitely go back and stay in the first room. Extremely handy for the coach/train/underground stations and the surrounding areas. And not overpriced. Because I first booked one night, then the other, we had to change rooms. This wasn’t a problem, Mihaela the hostess was really lovely and let us leave our case in her kitchen/cleaning area. First room was No.8 - a deluxe double overlooking the front street. Shower room was small but fine for our needs, we had to temporarily fix the shower head with a handy covid mask. Had to open the sash windows overnight because it was warm, then got some noise from the relatively quiet street but nothing major. I’ve never seen canisters with so many tea bags and coffee/sugar. Hairdryer was hard to use because the nearest socket was behind the shower room door, in the bedroom, and I had to stand about 6ft away from the sink mirror. However, there are loads of plug sockets, which is nice for someone who has loads of chargers. Fridge with free bottles of water. Our issue was with our second room - number 6. ‘Double with private bathroom’. This was at the back of the hotel and backed onto the train tracks. The trains didn’t stop until 1am and started again at 6am. The whole room would shake every time a train came in and out (busy station) plus items on the table. I found it impossible to sleep because of the heavy ‘ker-dunk ker-dunk’ as the train passed over the points and gaps on the track, coming into the station. The vibrations would go through my head. My husband is a good sleeper but they even disturbed him. Possibly ear plugs might help? The room was very small and narrow and the shower room was tiny (toilet was a bit of a squash) but these aren’t an issue because when you’re in London it’s only to rest your head. The walls could do with a new coat of paint - many marks and scuffs. Both beds were comfy and the showers (apart from one having to be fixed) were hot and powerful. The difference in price was only £15. If I was to stay again, if I couldn’t have a deluxe room then unfortunately I wouldn’t stay at all.
