The location is fantastic as it is near to the British Museum and accessible to subway and bus easily. The breakfast is good and I enjoyed the toast and cornflakes. Please note breakfast is served at their sister’s hotel which is just beside. There is no garden as mentioned by some visitors. I was assigned a basement room and it is damped and has small moths in the room. The heater was both working at all and it was cold in the room. Informed the hotel 3 times and it was not fixed and no information was feedback to me in whether it is working or not. I will suggest to book the sister hotel which looks much better and newer and it is in the same location.

We booked a double studio room with a tiny kitchenette. Staff is very friendly and helpful, convenient location with lot of eatery choices in the surrounding area. Unfortunately, it is sunny and very warm during our stay but no AC in this hotel. We requested an extra fan but doesn’t help much. The room won’t cool down until mid night.

Facilities: It looks like a typical old hotel in Europe, and the decoration style is very old-fashioned. The room is quite large, but the corridor is very cramped.
Hygiene: Clean and neat, cleaned every day
Environment: The surrounding environment is good, the location is a plus, and it takes 5 minutes to walk to the British Museum
Service: Overall in place.
In general, it feels worthwhile to live in such a large room in the core area of London for less than two thousand. After all, you can basically reach many core attractions in half an hour's walk

I was given a basement room, and they said it was the last one, and there was no change. The privacy is poor when the curtains are drawn during the day, and it is very noisy when people walk on the wooden stairs at night. There is no gym, washing machine, or dryer. The faucet in the kitchen is a bit broken. It will leak too much water if you open it too high, otherwise it will leak from the interface. I don't recommend it at all.
