Very satisfied. Every time I come to London, I stay for an extended period. The facilities are a bit old, but the price is right. Within 200 meters, there's a subway, Chinese fast food, and a bakery. The twin family room is spacious enough.

Hotel in a good location just a few step from Gloucester Road tube station. Housekeeping and Concierge are nice people. I would be back to this hotel again because of its location and concierge was helpful.

1. The hotel's air conditioning was broken, and they gave me a 'humidifier.' Do they think Chinese people don't know what a humidifier looks like? I only discovered in the middle of the night that it was a large ventilation pipe sticking out of the window. It was 12 degrees Celsius (53.6 Fahrenheit) at 3 AM, and I was freezing.
2. The hotel facilities are lacking. No toothbrushes or disposable toiletries, which I can understand, but there weren't even shower amenities. It's worse than a budget hotel.
3. After breakfast, I returned to my room and saw a stranger, who looked Indian or Middle Eastern, coming out of my room. I questioned what he was doing, and he said he was checking if I was in the room and asking about my check-out time. He was essentially rushing me to check out. I've encountered people knocking to ask about check-out times before, but this is the first time someone brazenly entered my room to ask. I carefully checked his hands; he wasn't holding anything. Luckily, I always pack my bags promptly, so nothing was missing.
4. The breakfast was very mediocre, definitely not up to four-star standards. The only redeeming quality is the location.
5. I've stayed in many hotels in London, and this one has such poor value for money that it compelled me, someone who never leaves reviews, to warn others to avoid it.

The hotel was “okay”. You have to pay for anything even slightly extra (getting cutlery into the room? 3 pounds). The rooms cleanliness was average - bathroom was not great, however bedsheets were clean.
Breakfast wad really great - with a wide variety of choices. Some of the options were English breakfast, fruits and yoghurt, pasties, and other.

Outdated rooms that didn’t smell that fresh. Noisy air conditioning system that even when turned off made strange noises periodically. Location was close to the tube which was handy. Midday check out was a bonus.
