My room was on the ground floor and you could hear all the trains coming into Paddington station. You can even feel it.
In the morning randomly the fire alarm started and stopped 2 times. So haven't had the most comfortable sleep.

The hotel is ok. They only gave me a room on the fourth floor and there is no elevator, which is not recommended and having to carry even my suitcase up to the 4th floor by stairs, not good at all!! I stayed two nights and they didn't clean the room. Something that I found terrible was that it smelled like paint and that smell hurt me and gave me a bad headache.

Very good location.
Helpful staff.
One of the concerns is the shaking of the hotel, at least the rooms because of the metro passing by more or less every 5 minutes.
This stops in the evening and starts again in the morning.
Another small problem is access to hot water in the showers… The water freezes or becomes scalding if other people are showering at the same time in the hotel.
Apart from that, a decent hotel.
