The room was very nice on arrival, though a smell coming from the en-suite like drains. The mattress was awful, felt every spring and needs replacing. When reception asked how was the stay, I told them about the mattress and I was completely ignored, and she went on to say we need to pay for extras, which was true, we did. If I hadn’t have had a migraine I’d have asked to speak to someone else. Felt completely dismissed.
Shower was great and powerful. Window with light behind is annoying as you can not turn this off and it shines all night.

It’s a good hotel, personal are very friendly, professional, helpful and kind, building is well maintained with fancy historical stuff. The location is also very good.
Among demerits, it’s very difficult to book a table in the restaurant in advance, gym is small and quite usual for hotels, only crossover, small dumbbells and some cardio machines and building is in construction works outside.

My boyfriend booked this hotel for valentines and it did not disappoint. Very comfortable bed with lots of bouncy pillows.
Able to get a hygiene dental kit from reception as we forgot our toothpaste.
If you book breakfast when you check in it is much cheaper then on the morning.

The building looks nice and historical. The decor is very elegant. However, I would prefer a shower instead of a bathtub.
