Wilde Aparthotels London Paddington

The location is very nice, only a short walk from the train station.  Plenty of restaurants nearby and a M&S foodhall/Tesco express.

room was quite small for 3 pax but nevertheless we had a great stay. will opt for the bigger room if we were to return to london. location was very convenient, a few minutes walk to paddington station & edgware station.

The worst we have ever stayed in My stay at this hotel was profoundly disappointing and fell far below even the most basic standards of hospitality. We are travelling on our honeymoon and were checking in with good initial impressions after a long 3 hours delay from our eurostar train and we left for dinner immediately without checking the room and toilet. To our dismay upon returning to the room, we discovered a dirty toilet bowl with someone's remaining skid marks - which is an appalling lapse in hygiene. The staff, while apologetic, assured us the issue would be resolved by housekeeping the following morning and offered a complimentary breakfast. Regrettably, the problem remained entirely unaddressed when we return for the next day. It is quite shocking to experience this kind of neglect of such a fundamental hygienic concern and it is our first time encountering this among our numerous travels with different accommodations including youth hostels and budget hotels. This reflects a staggering lack of professionalism and regard for guest welfare. A complimentary gesture and nice interior holds little value when core responsibilities are oversight. I sincerely hope that this would not happen to anyone else after this. The manager came to apologise in the 3rd morning and yet the toilet was not clean again by end of the day. This is mind boggling and ridiculous that our 3 nights stay started with a dirty toilet and is ending with the same, with actions promised and not kept to with professionalism. This shows the extent of poor management and hygiene standards for a hotel with such high ratings. I will advise all to think twice before staying at this hotel.

The staff was not friendly and efficient in service. I have asked for help in calling the local transport Co.but was rejected. Our request for change of towels made in the morning on line ( the recommended way to communicate with hotel staff)was not met when we returned in the evening. Even after I made request in person at the reception, the towels were not delivered until we made complaint on line

I really like this hotel. The room is spacious. The room is well equipped with the essentials. Clean and everything is thought through. There are lots of wall plugs for charging. Light switches etc are modern yet easy to operate. Cooking utensils provided are clean. There are some complimentary snacks provided, which makes you feel nicely welcomed and settled in. Towels are thick and fluffy. There are dressing gowns and slippers provided. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The fact that they wear t shirts and pants as opposed to the more serious suit in most hotels makes it feel even more relaxed and informal. In general the hotel has a very energetic yet relaxed vibe. Good for everyone I would say. Very refreshed stay, no fuss just comfort and no pretentiousness. .
