Large country home with 3 rooms and 3 baths

Nice and clean and great location - close to Mt. Whitney, Alabama Hills, and a day trip to Death Valley! The bed wasn’t the most comfortable, but the trip was great overall! Would stay here again.

This is a beautiful older home with a magnificent location and view.

Perfect base feom which to climb Mt. Whitney. Close to everything in Lone Pine and Whitney Portal. Will use again. Highly recommend.

Rare Surprise I travel extensively for work and rent houses across the US. I am so tired of the oversell with misleading photos and descriptions. This place was the rare undersell. The pictures do not do it justice. It is a great spacious house with comfortable beds. Sleeps 6 and HAS dishes & place settings that match that number. Plenty of pots and pans. We throughly enjoyed it and would rent again in a heartbeat. Joy was excellent to work with.

The house is as described in the description. We did have trouble opening the door with the key pad. Joy got back to me right away and she told us how to access the house. Joy will fix the key pad. The one item for improvement is to get rid of the ants. The area is quiet and safe.

We saw a mouse in house and notified the host. The host has been working on this issue but there might still be mice from time to time.
