Family-friendly Hotels in Longsheng

We chose to stay at Baike over a Sunday and Monday night at Ping An Village in the Longji because we saw that it was one of the top rated small hotels in China. It was also conveniently located at a short walk away from the Ping An parking lot. We were not disappointed. The service was above and beyond. The owner, Jason personally came down to greet us at the parking lot and hauled our luggages up to the hotel. Jason speaks English and is quick to respond to any information or special requests. He helped us arrange a detour to a traditional dance performance for our trip back to Guilin. One look at the place and we could tell no expenses were spared to keep all the facilities and equipment in top-notch condition. From the AC, the windows, the mosquito screens, and bathroom were in emacculate condition. Not a speck of dust, not one! For a relaxing, carefree stay at Ping An Village, we believe this is hands down the best hotel. Thank you Jason and all your staff for a wonderful and relaxing stay in the mountains.

We had a excellent stay at longji pavillion. Few minutes walk from the sightseeing point, good food. Friendly staff and owner. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for an authentic experience, we didn’t speak mandarin, we manage fine with translator. Kids friendly place 🙏

The buns and flower rolls made by my grandma herself are really delicious, authentic northern noodles. There is also the cooking skills of the young man. He can cook any dish and it is delicious. The chicken here is even more delicious, roasted chicken, sour soup fish. As a Ningbo native, I think the chicken is good enough. They also have barbecues that are delicious! Location: Good location, very convenient to 1.2. Observation deck; 8 minutes to get there, all rooms can see the scenery, park the car in the parking lot, walk to the store for 3 minutes, about 100 meters, Features: His dog will lead the way, take you to the platform and bring you back, he will go to any scenic spot you say to go to, and will stop and wait for you, so smart.

Hotel location is very good, you can see the scenery of the seven stars and the moon on the balcony, and the interior decoration is also very distinctive. The boss is very enthusiastic, not only picks us up and down, but also the room is very satisfied with the arrangement for us. I will definitely recommend it to my friends when I go back.

Booked a parent-child and double room. The hotel is located in Jinkeng Terraces, with view decks 1.2 on the left and 3 on the right. There are rice fields right outside the door. There is a stream a few steps down from the hotel. It is very parent-child friendly! The hotel is hygienic and clean, and the food in the store is delicious. Auntie Fa is very nice and the boss is very enthusiastic. The luggage is sent directly to the hotel. The car is parked at the foot of the hotel and it takes five minutes to walk to the hotel. There are stone steps on the mountain road and there is a road. It is full of childhood memories and I saw many plants that I saw when I was a child. Worth recommending^^ Picture 1.3 is the balcony view of the room, Picture 2 is the delicious food, Picture 4.5 is the rice field at the door, and Picture 6.7 is the viewing platform on the fourth floor to enjoy the sunrise.

We felt very uncomfortable, really as if we were bothering someone. I have never experienced anything like this before. In my opinion, the price-quality ratio is not good. Expensive for the service they offer. We had to ask for things for breakfast if they didn't give us anything. They wanted to charge me for a glass of milk for my daughter and finally they didn't charge me. I guess they realized that we were in a bad way. We asked them for bread and they bought us some. Longji is worth it, but the choice of hotel greatly overshadowed the experience.

Advice to foreign travellers: contact the hotel if you’re ever lost! They are more than happy to help. We didnt learn that until we realized we were on the wrong bus and took a longer route which made our travel to Longji a bit more stressful than needed. Once arrived, the rooms are very clean, the view is beautiful and locals are very nice. Just remember to not be shy! The food served at the restaurant was delicious and the area was nicely located. The view was so good we didn’t feel like we needed to leave the area at all during our stay. 10/10 would recommend to a friend or return! Thanks again

The hotel is very beautiful, full of design style, antique and charming. The service of the front desk lady is great, which makes people feel warm! The room is spacious and bright, and the bed is comfortable, which allows me to enjoy a good sleep. The hotel also provides a rich buffet breakfast and various leisure facilities, which makes me feel relaxed.

Came here for the third time, deep in the mountains is a stockade like a Swiss town: houses are lined up, layers of flowers are first laid, and Jiaojiao is beautiful. Whether it is the faintness of the sea of clouds surrounding the mountain in the morning or the evening glowing and tender, or the stars at night, it brings a sense of peace and tranquility: two ears do not hear the world, and the edge is in this village; In the morning, you can go up and down the stone road, while enjoying the beautiful scenery around you, you can also go to the mountain tea room to have a cup of good tea; in the afternoon, continue to climb, sit in the pavilion at the top, overlook the whole village, and then shout out the inner poetry and distance to the mountains; At night, make a wish to the stars (the heart fire to the stars, the wish is true). Here, you can completely empty, live a few days of pastoral life, lamenting that the paradise is real.

The hotel is situated really nice in the village and the view from the room is good, it is possible to see the rice terraces; the only downside is the tree blocking partly the view on the terraces. The village itself is very quiet, many hotels/restaurants closed down during/after covid, and it was really different compared to the vibrant life we saw back in 2017 when we also visited this village. The room was basic but really nice and clean and the bed comfortable. The owners do not speak English, but were super friendly and helpful. They arranged transfers from/to the airport, were happy to give us tips about the surroundings and made sure we always had enough hot&cold drinking water. The dinner (which you can buy from the menu) was ok, but there are better restaurants in town. The free breakfast was very simple. All in all we had a nice stay at this hotel.
