All in all an extremely pleasant stay! The location is absolutely stunning. Sure, it might be a little bit off the beaten track, but the views are all the more rewarding and the hiking path from Dazhai is also highly recommended.
The hotel lobby also functions as a big living room and a little restaurant run by the owners. The food is excellent and well priced (definitely try their rice wine!). Because we were there in winter and it was cold, the owners even put a small radiator under our table to make it comfortable.
Generally, the owners were super nice and friendly and adding their absolutely adorable puppy, we almost couldn't bring ourselves to leave.
The rooms were very clean, have a small separate bathroom and we had a small balcony with view over the rice terraces. For a more budget option there is also rooms without AC or view, in that case you can still enjoy quite a bit of the scenery from the living room downstairs or just by exploring the surroundings on foot. (The picture is shot from our balcony, but sadly some of the view was obscured by the winter mist.)
We will definitely try to come again sometime in summer and are already excited thinking about staying in this hotel again.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel in the Longji Rice Terraces! We visited during the off-season and were among the few guests, which made the experience even more special. The peaceful atmosphere and breathtaking scenery were truly unforgettable.
During our stay, the temperature was around 10°C, so it was quite cold. We definitely recommend bringing warm clothing, as the rooms can get chilly. However, the hosts made sure we were comfortable – they even let us sit by the heated stove in the living area to warm up, which was such a cozy experience.
The hospitality was outstanding – the hosts took such loving and attentive care of us, making us feel right at home.

What a magical and special stay we had here! The owner and her family were so welcoming and helpful. From arranging transport to and from the property to suggesting walks we might like to take，they could not have been more helpful and caring. The rooms have great views over the rice terraces and the food was delicious!

The boss and his family were very hospitable and came down the mountain to pick us up. We had their own local chicken, vegetables and rice, which was delicious. And showed us the roads to various scenic spots. There were fewer tourists this season and they upgraded our room, which we were very satisfied with.
