We found the restaurant we were looking for: traditional, gourmet and not too expensive since the à la carte lunch cost less than €50.00 per person: cocktail (€8.00) and pitcher of red macon (50 cl, €18.00). ) - which we found a bit basic - understood. What we tasted? a snail crust (€14.00), a fish terrine (€15.00) and 4 desserts for €8.00. As we can see, the prices are not excessive, the food is well done - the chef knows his job! As we are in Bresse, the dishes are generous with cream, a cream that you can guess is firm and which is tasty, despite the calories. We asked for lunch in the room (the bar) on the street side and not in the dining room, which was considered too dark.

We didn't go to the hotel. Just a family meal. The meal was excellent, from starter to dessert. The waitress was professional, smiling and very pleasant. Dogs are allowed and even pampered.

Lunch at the Poularde restaurant. Excellent cuisine, fast service, very warm welcome. Restaurant room, tables spaced far enough apart to respect each other's customers. We will come back to highly recommend. Thanks again. Christian G

La Poularde est un hôtel de charme tel que l'on n'en rencontre plus. L'accueil y est chaleureux, sans sophistication inutile. Le personnel est sympathique et bienveillant. La formule petit déjeuner est complète avec d'excellents fromages. Le repas proposé le soir en formule étape est d'un très bon niveau. Le wifi est efficace.

Pour aventuriers sans peurs...Le restaurant est d'une mediocrité absolue !!! Rapport qualité prix déplorable. L'accueil est aimable...mais on ne va pas au restaurant uniquement pour l'accueil ! Vin ordinaire, pour un prix qui ne l'est pas. Repas idem... J'y ai mange le 16.09.2024 (note a disposition )
