La Signora Hotel

A beautiful clean boutique hotel friendly staff with lovely sea views and excellent food and great location very close to the beach , a short stroll down the hill. Everything about this hotel is classy! You are wrapped in luxury from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave, it’s outstanding! A boutique paradise The owner takes great pride clearly in making sure her guests experience the best and most comfortable stay, and she is a very welcoming host to all, as are the fabulous staff team; , as we all know the people make the place, and these lovely people absolutely do! A short walk to the beach and the lovely tavernas, even shorter walk to the fabulous cafe and bar, Platanos! And even more places further up the hill. Undoubtedly the best hotel in Kefalonia and I send most grateful thanks to - Venetia, Costas, Katerina, Yulia, Amalia, Dimitra, Nicos, Helen, Maria, Alex, and apologies if I’ve forgotten any names, but you are all outstandingly fabulous ❤️

We stayed he last year returning for a meal and a few drinks this year.The food was very nice ,but the bar manager Costas made our holiday we returned most nights .The service was very good ,the hotel itself is stunning nicely decorated.The only problem is the hill.

We have stayed at La Signora twice this season - once in May 2024 for a week and again in September 2024. As we booked ages ago, our booking with two young children was honoured but please note that children under 12 can no longer stay at La Signora. It is a truly beautiful hotel and both of the rooms we stayed in this year were spacious, modern and comfortable. The top floor deluxe suite was particularly nice with an amazing view of the sea. The air con worked well for us and the shower was lovely. The Greek night was lots of fun, and a jazz night that took place whilst we were there was great with delicious food. Generally the food is ok at the hotel (the moussaka is delicious!). The breakfast can be a little repetitive but for a bed and breakfast its sort of what you'd expect. The staff were generally very helpful, especially the younger ladies on reception. The swimming pool is nice and was not busy during our stays. The cleaners were amazing and always left our room looking great despite the fact we had two young children with us! We are sad that we will not be able to return to La Signora again for at least 13 years with our children, particularly as we got married in Lourdas in September - but it definitely feels like Lourdas as a whole is aiming at a more exclusive adults only vibe. It's worth noting that there isn't much to do for families if your children like lots of activities - ours just like swimming in the sea so we were very happy here. The walk down from the hotel to the beach and back up again is VERY steep and if you even had slight mobility issues this would not be suitable. Overall a great couple of stays at La Signora and would recommend if you are a couple looking for a relaxing break in a boutique hotel.

We had a lovely weeks stay here in June. The hotel was spotless in all areas. Reception staff were really helpful and were able to assist in booking an excursion. The hotel has a happy hour from 4pm ( I think) which was ideal after the walk up the hill from the beach. They had a great selection of cocktails. Breakfast selection was plentiful with lots of local choice. We would have no doubt about booking again if in the region. I do wonder if in peak season there are enough sunbeds but as we prefer the beach it didn't matter. We did however use the pool occasionally and it was lovely

This hotel is excellent, rooms are lovely with everything you need and quite spacious and the bed is so comfy. the bathroom is very modern. Staff are all very friendly and the breakfast is excellent. Pool is a good size with plenty of beds and loungers, the poolside bar is very good, serving everything you need and also good food. The only negative is the hill you have to climb on the way back from the beach
