The hotel is an early 20th century building (I think) with the style of the belle epoch and our room had wonderful high ceilings and tall windows with a balcony overlooking the bay. There was a good sized desk and fridge, but no kettle. Wifi was good and the first time in Croatia we were actually able to connect reliably. There were no plug sockets by the bed which was a minor irritation. Breakfast was wonderful with happy staff and a great selection of food. It was lovely to sit on the terrace while eating and relaxing, a wonderful start to the day. Parking is available at the front of the hotel but needs to be pre-booked.

Receptionist was welcoming and accommodating. Room proved rather average. Dated and tired but it boasted a great outdoor balcony from which to soak up sunrise and sunset. Breakfast and dinner outdoor patio was perfect spot but the food was mediocre.

Entering from the entrance on the side of the arrival road you do not expect the beautiful view that opens from the opposite side of the Hotel! Memorable breakfast on the terrace overlooking the splendid Gulf of Carnaro! Good services, excellent quality/price ratio, very friendly and helpful staff.

The breakfast on the terrace is great, and there is nothing to complain about the rest of the accommodation either. Unfortunately, the hotel also had a school class staying: noise in the corridors, objects being thrown down, shouting matches in the hotel and from the windows, and all of this went on until after midnight.

The hotel has 2 buildings, one of which, where we stayed, does not have a lift and you have to carry your luggage up the stairs. Everything is carpeted. The hotel is well located with sea views and direct access to the promenade. The rooms have a small step at the entrance and another at the bathroom entrance where you constantly trip over it. The beds are not comfortable. The sheets, at least those in our room, were very small. The towels are small and do not dry very well. The breakfast buffet is rather weak. The orange juice is awful. The hotel staff is friendly. There are parking spaces in front of the hotel.
