Fairfield Inn & Suites Williamsport

Clean quiet and relaxing...Big comfortable bed... Location is close to home I love it. Great breakfast only thing is they need to serve turkey or beef sausage and or bacon for the people who does not eat pork.

I wanted to love this place because it’s right across the street from the college. But even renovated rooms are not great. Fridge was dirty, sheets rough. Not the worst but hoped for better.

The hotel itself was clean and the room was very nice. Due to construction there was limited parking and you could hear the music from the gas station across the street.

They are renovating their property so there was a little inconvenience but overall the room was great. Breakfast was good.

Okay stay I made a note online when I made the reservation that I needed a handicapped accessible room due to my daughte being in a wheelchair. I called the day before the reservation and was assured we were assigned one. When we arrived after a 7 hour drive, I said to the front desk woman (who was very nice) that we were already assigned a handicapped accessible room, she said "let me make sure with my manager" He came over and said " we will see what we can do". I told him I had requested it onlne and called yesterday to confirm and he said "well, we cant guarantee it, if someone else came in and needed it" Like, what?? We did still happen to get one by why did he need to be like that, especially after a long drive, I was exhausted. Also, the phone didn't work in the room when I tried to call and request another hair dryer since the hair dryer in our room was broken. I waited by the unmanned front desk for a few minutes before the manager came around the corner and was able to get a maintenance man to get us another hair dryer. Lots of construction going on also. Normally, I dont nitpick but that first interaction when we got there rubbed me the wrong way. Overall, the place was fine to stay at.
