Predictably good service. I have stayed at the Tropico several times and the level of service is consistently good. The staff are great and always courteous and willing to help. If I had one minor criticism it would be the bar food menu is limited.

Very good hotel in Luanda. Everyone is so welcoming. Thank you Esperenca, one of the receptionists for making my stay so special! She’s very nice and very helpful! Everything was perfect, it was clean and quiet. I highly recommend to stay there if you go to Luanda!

I'm a customer with some regularity from the bar area - restaurant There are drunk customers who interfere with other customers, being inconvenient and rude and rubbing against aggressiveness. All this happens in the presence of the employees, who observe without doing nothing, not even calling security. The hotel management should take measures, so there are problems with excess alcohol and lack of security in common areas of the hotel.

I was ill when I arrived after 30 hours of multiple flights. While I was checking in, Maria Mendes (Rooms Division Manager) met me and offered assistance. She was genuinely concerned and I felt quite comfortable. During my 15-day stay, she periodically checked on me to be sure I was OK. My room was a 3-room suite (1 1/2 bath) with views of the Bay: Large living room with a corner mini-kitchen, a room set up like an office, and a large comfortable bedroom. As I was not well, my colleagues came to my suite instead of me going to their office. So, the suite's office was perfect for 2-3 people with laptops to collaborate. Even though I do not speak Portuguese, I had no problems communicating with the very polite and helpful staff. This hotel has the best gymnasium of any I've seen elsewhere. Next to the gym is a salon and I did get a fine very economic haircut. The morning breakfast buffet has a wide selection of quality food. I ate in that dining room (restaurant) for lunch. The menu as well as wine selection will please anyone. My one "complaint"? I was not accustomed to the huge serving I was given. Delicious. Often, I ate at the cafe/bar adjacent to the swimming pool. It's less formal than the main dining room and you get the benefit of a refreshing light breeze. The Tropico must be the best hotel in Luanda. I felt safe, comfortable, and well looked after. I will stay there again, and I will recommend it to friends.

Our stay in the Hotel Tropico Luanda was fabulous. The ambiance between business and leisure was really good. We can easily feel that it is a business hotel but feel also like home thanks to the always great support of the hole Team and the warm welcoming. For us, this hotel is highly recommanded.
