It's a little inconvenient because the location is on the outskirts of Rua Prabang.
But there are also events every night to restore it.
If you participate well, you can have a good time.
And manager Poryea is very kind.

The terrible noise created by room door, chicken and uncooperative travelers have made the whole staying experience not quite pleasant. Sleepless nights for days, at last I am checking out

Probably the best hostel I've stayed at. The pool isn't massive, but it's separate from the bar area which is nice, and they organise trips to other places

Great hostel especially for this price. You should definitely book it in Luang Prabang if you’re a solo traveler on a budget. Although Mad Monkey has a reputation of party hostel, I slept well and weren’t disturbed by any sounds because bar in the hostel shut down at 11pm.
Female dorm was nice and clean. There are curtains for each bed, hair dryer in the bathroom, you can also rent a towel.
