Environment: rice fields, cicadas chirping, but no mosquitoes beside the paddy fields. Waking up early to bask in the warmth of the swimming pool with a hint of coolness in the morning, looking at the green rice fields, the mist-shrouded mountains in the distance, the clear blue sky and white clouds, I felt that there was a vivid memory on my life list. Room: The air conditioning is sufficient and there is no noise. There is also a fragrance system, and the high roof space makes people relax. The equipment is well-equipped and very new. I fell asleep on the first night without much fuss as I was in an area where bed trouble was most common when I was on a business trip. Service and breakfast: Very welcoming. There was a problem with the hot water on the first night. I called the front desk and sent someone to fix it immediately. There is a free shuttle to town. The breakfast is rich, especially the local millet noodles. Overall review: :) I don’t want to give a good review, because I’m afraid you might raise the price next time if you know more.

The bed and esp. pillows are super comfy..i can go to sleep so quickly... Nice hospility from receptionist,willing to help... and also from servers... Good size pool.. good deal during this covid time ..not in the main town, so its quiet but walkable to town if you are a walker..or there are free bikes to borrow...

This is my second visit after visiting with my family about a month ago. I remembered the warm experience I had at this hotel last time, so I came back again. There must be many guests coming in and out of the hotel, and I was touched that everyone I met recognized me and said “Welcome back.” I am very grateful to Yong, Lith, Muhn, Mone, and the two female hoteliers who were in charge of dinner on 5/25 for their hospitality. (I should have asked everyone's names, but it's too bad I didn't.) And the information about becoming a monk during the morning Takbat. I am also sincerely grateful to the male hotelier who kindly and in detail explained about the Ina Lao people. I think I will visit Laos again on my last trip before returning to my home country because of the warm memories I had in Avani. I look forward to seeing you again.

Our stay had a lot of high points and a lot of low points. Starting with the high points, the grounds and room were incredible. Our experience at the spa was one of the best we’ve had. The cocktails and Laos-style burger we had for lunch one day were phenomenal. The staff were charming and very accommodating. However, there were a few aspects that were far below the experience expected of a 5 star hotel. First, cocktail service around the pool was abysmal. On almost every occasion we had to go searching for a staff member to take our order, and then the cocktails more often than not took more than half an hour to arrive. This is despite the fact that we seemed to be the only people ordering F&B at that time, i.e. they were not busy at all. Second, the breakfast was a disappointment every day - we were told we could order eggs or noodles, and had to repeatedly press the staff to find out what type of eggs and noodles, and we only discovered on the last day that there was a menu with additional options. We ordered poached eggs on toast, and the eggs had not been drained of excess liquid, and the bread was entirely soaked through. An order of waffles took over an hour to come out - first it was delivered as a pancakes, and then they just forgot about it despite repeated follow ups. The “local” Laos options lacked flavor - very little of the herbs and spice that makes Laos food great. I think this and the pool service issue are primarily the result of a lack of training and instruction for staff - they were clearly doing their best, but did not know what to do. Third, the pool area needs a lot more spent on maintenance. The decking is cracking and falling apart. The mosaic tiles in the pool are falling apart, A LOT of the tiles are missing, and I got a very large laceration on my forearm from the sharp edge of a tile sticking out. If this pool were in a western jurisdiction, it would not meet health and safety standards. Fourth, the gym was not worth visiting if you want to lift weights. Possibly the worst weights offering I’ve seen for a hotel of that price and with that much space. We want to reiterate how great and enthusiastic the staff were. I think this is primarily a management oversight, training, and maintenance capex issue.

The environment is good. It is the third-ranked luxury hotel. The service attitude is much better than that of Luang Prabang Hotel. The service awareness is very strong. Even if the hotel can be reached within two steps, a sightseeing bus will be arranged. There are not many types of self-service breakfast, but the taste is good. Sitting on the bed, you can see the scenery outside the window. The weather has been cold recently, so a small sun is provided for heating. There are two shortcomings. One is that the pillow is a bit soft and not very comfortable. The other is the hygiene of the toilet and bedding. There are some flaws. Overall, it is great.

The room was very damp and unhygienic, with rips everywhere. There was no Wi-Fi in the room, but I bought a phone card so I could use it. The breakfast was terrible... and the breakfast staff spoke very poor English. And because we were the only guests, we ordered food and there was no buffet. I couldn't finish my fried rice and packed it up to take it home for lunch, but they didn't pack it up. The shuttle bus schedule was also weird, with very few shifts. Anyway, the environment is very, very beautiful and worth staying for one night, but only for one night

The room cleaning is very thoughtful and meticulous, at least twice a day, keeping the room clean and tidy at all times! On the first day, the tip was placed on the bedside table, but they didn’t take it. On the second day, it was specially placed on the quilt and taken away. It can be seen that the service training is still very strict! The room is large and comfortable to live in. The bedding and bath towels are very comfortable! Talk about the shortcomings. The room is not very soundproof. The waiter cleans outside in the morning, and the sound is very clear. If you live downstairs, the sound upstairs is very clear. If you encounter people who go to bed late and get up early, it will affect the quality of rest downstairs. Another point is that the hotel does not have a pick-up service. Many hotels will provide pick-up and drop-off services within the town at any time, or even pick-up and drop-off services at the airport and high-speed rail. In addition, the hotel is a little off-site. It takes more than 20 minutes to walk to any place. It is impossible to walk under the scorching sun. You need to take a tuk-tuk every time. The price of tuk-tuks in Luang Prabang has skyrocketed in recent years. Even if you only take a five-minute ride, the starting price is 20,000 per person (about 6 yuan in total), and it is calculated per person. It is more expensive than taking a taxi in any major city in China! When going to the high-speed rail station, the price of the hotel's delivery is 25 US dollars, and I immediately ordered a 99 yuan delivery service on Mafengwo. Except for the fact that I was not satisfied with the trip, the hotel vacation was really good, and I should go there again in the future.

After swimming, you can use the steam and sauna rooms, and the facilities are well equipped. Monks will pass by the hotel entrance, and the hotel will provide free supplies and sticky rice to guests who want to experience alms. The hotel also gives guests woven bags and hats as souvenirs. It was an unforgettable and perfect experience in Amman Targah, and I hope to come back next time for a sunset cruise.

A five-star hotel with a retro style. The building is a very distinctive French colonial style. The breakfast is great. The facilities are a little old, but it's not a big problem. It's very clean. The service staff speaks fluent English and is very warm and polite. The location is also quite convenient. It takes 15 minutes to walk to the center. There are also places to rent motorcycles nearby. It is worth recommending!
