Romantic Hotels in Luang Prabang

Pros: This is the hotel where I slept the most comfortably among the hotels I stayed in these days!!! The sanitation is super clean and the bathroom is very new! The service is also super good, and there are quite a lot of free water and drinks. The breakfast is also very unique~ The morning alms are right at the door, and there will be a morning call! The environment is very comfortable Cons: The door is locked with a key🔑, so you have to lock the door when you go out, which is not as convenient as swiping a card. The coffee I drank when I just came in is not free, you have to pay for it

A luxury resort hotel hidden in the city. I originally wanted to stay here for three consecutive nights, but considering that I would leave early and return late every day, I would waste this leisurely vacation time. In the end, I only booked one night. I chose a suite and was very satisfied. It is above the level of a luxury resort hotel. The hotel is located next to the Luang Prabang Night Market, which is diagonally opposite the Royal Palace. The hotel building is very stylish and I like the style very much. It is surrounded by greenery and the swimming pool in the middle is made of black bricks, which complement each other. Welcome fruits are prepared in the guest room, including golden mangoes, rambutans and apples. The hotel also provides bicycle riding services. There are not many breakfast varieties, but the standard is not low. There is delicious fried rice! In addition, because my mother is an ox, I also brought back a clay buffalo handmade by the locals as a souvenir.

Everything was just like in the pictures. Super nice decoration. The room and its balcony were quite big. The taste of their breakfast was very nice, literally - only American breakfast's available, tho. Free bicycle ride. It's located in a quiet area, which is good. It's close to the aiming area (with Wat Sensoukharam scene on the back) but a bit far from the night/morning market, FYI. Unfortunately, there was a construction in front of the hotel so it was noisy during the day.

I was surprised that the hotel was much bigger than it looked from the outside, and it felt like I was in a huge botanical garden. In particular, the bed in the room I reserved was so big that I could roll around, and the view was also a pond view, so I was very satisfied. However, the breakfast was very poor, so it was a bit disappointing for the price.

The location should be the best in Yangren Street. It is right on the main street, which is very convenient for eating and drinking, and it is also nice to take pictures. The only problem is that the room is not soundproof because it is made of wood. If you want to watch Bushi, this hotel is the most convenient. You can watch it at the door of the hotel. Breakfast is ordered and it is delicious. If you want quietness, Sofitel will be better.

We are very happy with our stay at the Sofitel of Luang Prabang, very warm welcome from the arrival until our departure. This is a very quiet and relaxing hotel with plenty of serene atmosphere, which we were looking forward to get during our stay. As it is a bit out of the city center with 5 minutes drive or 10 minutes by tuktuk, they do offer free shuttles from 6pm to 9:30pm to town or back. Courteous staff, helpful and friendly people. Breakfast is simple, not gargantuan, sufficient enough, they offer free 5 minutes massage when you arrive for breakfast if you desire to have one… The pool and garden are beautiful and well maintained. All in all, good values and good vibes from this place, we will return and recommend it to our friends to go.

When I first checked in, the shower water pressure was very low. I told the front desk and it was quickly resolved! Except for the remote location and limited shuttle bus time, there is nothing wrong with it. Of course, you can also choose to find a car by yourself, but the cost is a little expensive.

We liked - location, breakfast, bed and pillows very comfortable, staff amazing , complimentary mini bar, free bikes, free shuttle to anywhere in town ,  fast wifi.  Beautiful setting and deco.  Toun , the lady at the reception was amazing !!  We didn’t like - bad sewer smell in the room, window in toilet has no glass so sound from the street , especially in the morning is quite annoying.  Prices of some services are way too high : airport transfer 400,000 Kip vs 120,000 for a loca.

Absolute treasure hotel, everyone can close their eyes. Bring children to play Luang Prabang, our route, 15 minutes from the hotel to Puxi Mountain, up the mountain to see the Grand Palace, eat in the foreigner street, go back to the hotel after the night market, seven-year-old children can walk down. The hotel decoration is very new, the pool is very beautiful, the staff is kind and enthusiastic, and actively patient. A little suggestion, breakfast is a bit simple, but it does not affect the praise of the hotel.

After ordering rice noodles, the chili sauce that Chinese people love is immediately delivered, which really won my heart 🤗. The various breads for breakfast are also very delicious. People who don’t like bread have to eat two pieces every day! The front desk service is also standardized online, and the male waiters are generally more enthusiastic! The room cleaning is very thoughtful and meticulous, at least twice a day, keeping the room clean and tidy at all times! On the first day, the tip was placed on the bedside table, but they didn’t take it. On the second day, it was specially placed on the quilt and taken away. It can be seen that the service training is still very strict! The room is large and comfortable to live in. The bedding and bath towels are very comfortable! Talk about the shortcomings. The room is not very soundproof. The waiter cleans outside in the morning, and the sound is very clear. If you live downstairs, the sound upstairs is very clear. If you encounter people who go to bed late and get up early, it will affect the quality of rest downstairs. Another point is that the hotel does not have a pick-up service. Many hotels will provide pick-up and drop-off services within the town at any time, or even pick-up and drop-off services at the airport and high-speed rail. In addition, the hotel is a little off-site. It takes more than 20 minutes to walk to any place. It is impossible to walk under the scorching sun. You need to take a tuk-tuk every time. The price of tuk-tuks in Luang Prabang has skyrocketed in recent years. Even if you only take a five-minute ride, the starting price is 20,000 per person (about 6 yuan in total), and it is calculated per person. It is more expensive than taking a taxi in any major city in China! When going to the high-speed rail station, the price of the hotel's delivery is 25 US dollars, and I immediately ordered a 99 yuan delivery service on Mafengwo. Except for the fact that I was not satisfied with the trip, the hotel vacation was really good, and I should go there again in the future.
