The only hotel inside the jinshanling great wall. Next to the entrance of the ticket and cable car station. Only 1 Chinese restaurant that served breakfast, lunch and dinner. Prices of the food are reasonable and portions are huge. Room is as per the picture. We have 2 rooms, 1 facing car park and 1 mountain. No greatwall view as is hidden behind the mountain.
Service is excellent, they will provide pick up service from tourist centre and east gate entrance. We walked from the central to the east and contacted them via WeChat to pick us up from there. When we checked out, they told them we wanted to go a restaurant near the tourist centre, they did the extra mile to send us there instead of just alighting at the tourist centre.
Staff are extra friendly. I saw them looking for 4 guests who dine at the restaurant the night before who dropped at 100yuan. The next morning when we were there for breakfast, they checked whether did we sat at the table for dinner last night. They were still searching for the guests to return the money. Super honest!
However, cleanliness can be improved, the ceiling fan was super dusty. Behind the hotel, next to the greatwall entrance, there are some farmers restaurants and mingshu too.

Enjoyed our stay at Jinshanling hotel, there’s a side door to the park entrance, so extremely convenience! The hotel is huge, it’s a Chinese si he yuan style, great for photos. Room is good size, everything is provided (bathrobes too!). Food is great, my western family enjoyed it!
If we go to Great Wall again, will definitely return to this hotel.
FYI as the hotel is so near to the entrance, we went to the Great Wall twice. It’s a two day ticket.

The hotel has a nice restaurant and breakfast supplied, room is clean, right at the entrance of the great wall. Only thing is not many transport option to the hotel from the train station, so need to catch not licensed local people's car and the price is up there.

The hotel located real close to Great Wall gate, the price is affordable, the breakfast is nice, the only minus is no elevator thus we need to carry our suitcases downstairs by ourselves, but overall all good

Location is great.
Front desk seemed to not really know how to register foreigners, taking a long time when it’s actually quite simple process. They should be kept updated on new immigration policies China has implemented to ensure smooth process for all the guests. Also they had quite hard time to explain in Chinese (on phone) how it works to get in to Jinshanling Great Wall.
Concierge however was nice and helpful. Their service was 10/5 and raises the overall to 5/5 from 3/5.
Restaurant is fine, prices are quite high but given that food was edible and no other options it is acceptable. Breakfast is good enough.
Cleanliness is ok, bed sheets are clean but bathroom is not so clean, quite many stains. Taking better care of the room could and would allow cheaper maintenance in long term. Bit of dust also.
Hotel should offer transit service to its customers from railway station so they wouldn’t be stranded and aggressively faced by locals offering ride.
Great Wall itself is amazing so I can only hope hotel would step up its game for the future.

The location is absolutely perfect if you want to visit the Great Wall, especially if you wish to see the sunrise.

Beautiful hotel right at the entrance to the Great Wall. Very convenient to reach the Great Wall for sunset and sunrise. Rooms were clean and spacious. Staff were helpful too!

Hotel is very nice and great location ! Breakfast is good and lot of options ! The only comment that I have ….. we forget the teddy bear of my son in our bed and was not able to find it ! …. Quite surprising in term of service ! Anyway … it was a good experience but make sure you don’t forget something .
