We stayed here four nights. Our room was fine. Just the basics and nothing fancy, though it had a safe and a small refrigerator. There is no real view but the area is quiet. We rode our bikes into Lucca, which was about 8 km, most of it on a bike path. The breakfast is okay but the breads can be stale (my guess is that they are renewed every other day). For the price, it is a very good value. It was our cheapest stay in Italy. But don't expect much personalized service as you would get at an agriturismo, for example.

We had a reservation from October 22 to 26, 2024, which we were unable to honor. In fact, my dad was hospitalized in critical condition just before our departure and died a few days later. The host who refused free cancellation did not deign to respond to my messages and even refused to deduct the breakfasts that we obviously did not eat.... I find their lack of compassion shameful and inhuman!

It was a smartbox package to which I added 1 night. The room assigned, I think because of the type of package, was on the second floor, no elevator of course (a renovated house from the early 1900s), a cheap double room.... very very small.... without air conditioning as justified in writing by the owners, even if the fan instead of being on the floor could easily have been on the ceiling given the size of the room. Clean room.... abundant breakfast especially sweets. Owners not particularly friendly... acceptable distance from the center of Lucca... difficult entrance to the courtyard of the structure. A note that can be extended to many hotels etc...... the pillows are terrible.....

Having received a Wonnderbox check as a gift, I immediately chose Principe Calaf Tre because I liked the nice reviews and the attention to detail. I tried several times to send emails to find out if they were available on a certain date, I never received a response. I tried by phone and was immediately told that there was no room, when I VERY kindly asked if they could at least have responded to the email I was immediately answered rudely making me understand that they had the so-called ... dirty ... as they say here!!! Congratulations, nice advertising you do!!!

We went to Viareggio for the carnival with family and decided to stay at this property as it is within reasonable distance to visit Lucca Pisa and then go to the carnival. Very nice structure and I think I'm not saying nonsense in the modernization phase, spacious and well-kept rooms, very kind and helpful staff, very good breakfast with fresh and packaged sweet and savory products (let's say for all tastes). We will definitely be back. If I can give some advice, the indication of the structure should be a tad bit more visible. However good

Ho soggiornato in questo bb per qualche notte e, nel complesso, l'esperienza è stata nella media, anche se ci sono stati alcuni aspetti che potrebbero essere migliorati. La camera era abbastanza confortevole, ma ho notato che alcune mattonelle erano scollate, un dettaglio che non è passato inosservato. Posto carino. Fuori mano. Silenzioso. La camera in cui abbiamo soggiornato era ampia. Manca l'impianto di condizionamento per motivi legati ai beni culturali (così ci hanno spiegato). In stanza sono presenti solo dei ventilatori che però dovrebbero essere ogni tanto puliti. Quelli che abbiamo trovato in stanza erano molto sporchi. Inoltre ci vorrebbe un pò di attenzione e manutenzione ordinaria di porte, finestre e zanzariere. Colazione ricca e abbondante
