The hotel is 850 from the station. In front of the Rhine gallery. The hotel is well located. At the reception they are very friendly

Good value for money. We stayed in a family room with separate compartments for children. There is a shopping mall opposite, which is perfect for simple shopping. There is a bus stop next to it and it is very convenient to get to downtown Mannheim. There is a river behind the hotel. Breakfast is relatively normal

The hotel staff was very friendly and professional. But the hotel itself could use some renovations. The carpet in the hallways is very dirty, and the desk in the room that I stayed in has water rings on it and the drain plug in the sink in the bathroom doesn't have a release button to open the drain plug.

Rene Bohn is an amazingly comfortable, very well run hotel and while the focus is on business travelers they are absolutely family friendly, as well. I stayed in the comfortable, well kept room and since I was visiting Ludwigshafen in order to see my goddaughter and her parents, good friends, we made use of the delicious weekend brunch buffet they offer on the weekends where outside guests are accepted for an additional fee, of course. The location is quite central however, as it used to be a place for BASF employees and partners exclusively, it is not directly near any of the city’s sights. Ludwigshafen not being a large city that is still quite convenient and the very good service and friendly staff alone ensure that I will stay there again during my next visit.

Room temperature was just fine, parking is a slight hassle because the parking garage is situated 100m away by foot, thus, luggage handling is less convenient. Hotel staff are friendly. Breakfast choices are meager but doable.
