Excellent hotel, amazing stuff, good food. Fabulous location, spectacular rooms, great breakfasts, and outstanding service -- exactly what you want from a five-star hotel. Special thanks to all stuff, who made us feel very welcomed and kept an eye out for us during our weekend visit. We can't wait to return to this very special place.

We enjoyed every moment there. The staff was very friendly. The service quality with locally sources food are something I would mention as the most outstanding feature. If someone would like to experience exclusivity this is the right place to stay. Big love and hug to Fanny, Head of Service management.

Very nice hotel with a calm relaxing atmosphere. Great restaurant and delicious served breakfast. Beautiful view from the balcony of the room on the river and the mountains. The hotel staff was very friendly and welcoming.

Wir haben eine wunderschöne Zeit in dem der schönen Domizil verbracht, kleiner aber sehr schön angelegter Wellnessbereich mit kleinem Outdoor-Pool; sehr gute Küche mit wunderbaren Speisen!! Frau Metzger war zuvorkommend nett und hat uns gut versorgt! Reichhaltiges Frühstück an den Tisch gebracht! Es ist nicht billig, aber das Geld allemal wert!

Wir sahen das Refugium als "Oase der Woche" im Standard, und sind sehr froh dass wir spontan gebucht haben. Vom freundlichen Empfang, zum servierten Frühstück, der täglichen Yogastunde, und der Herzlichkeit von allen im Haus, vom Zimmermädchen zu den Besitzern war es einfach perfekt. Ganz toll fanden wir das Konzept der Küche wo wir abends gemütlich mit andern Hotelgästen bei ein paar Gläsern Wein zusammensassen. Wir hatten leider die Tage gebucht wo das Restaurant geschlossen war, aber das können wir ja beim nächsten Mal nachholen :) Vielen Dank an alle, wir hatten eine tolle Zeit!

Im Zentrum vom Lunz wurde ein altes Gebäude zu einem edlen Hotel umgebaut. Einrichtung vom Feinsten, viele "Kleinigkeiten", an denen man merkt, dass sich jemand Gedanken gemacht hat. Von der Lampe, die man auf den Balkon mitnehmen kann über die gute Lichtsteuerung im Zimmer, die Geberit Aqua Clean Toilette zu den Düften, die in der Sauna zur Auswahl stehen. Wir hatten ein Balkonzimmer, sehr geräumig, bequemes Bett. Etwas mehr Verdunklung hätte ich mir persönlich gewünscht. Der Balkon war sehr groß mit Pflanzen und bequemer Sitzmöglichkeit. Essen ist auf der Terrasse und in den schönen Restauranträumen möglich. Das Abendessen bietet eine Auswahl an österreichischer Küche, allerdings mit Kreativität zu etwas Besonderem veredelt. Ausgezeichnet! Es gibt kein Menü, man wählt 3 Gänge sus der Karte. Das Frühstück wird serviert, ist mit Liebe (und Blumen) angerichtet und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Personal ist sehr nett, kompetent und freundlich. Einzig der Wellnessbereich wird sicher zu klein, wenn das Wetter schlecht ist. Für einen Aufenthalt von einer Nacht gibt es einen Aufschlag. Trotzdem: Volle Empfehlung, der hohe Preis ist sicher gerechtfertigt.

Das Refugium Lunz ist ein außergewöhnlicher Ort, wahrscheinlich das Hotel mit dem freundlichsten und best-gelaunten Personal, das ich bislang besucht habe. Die Stimmung im Haus ist stets positiv, entspannt und stimmig. Es wird alles geboten, was das Herz begehrt: Komfort, umwerfende Küche, ein gewinnendes Lächeln rundum, Wärme.
