Before checking in, the hotel manager Bai Junyi prepared for the guests in advance. The hotel also provided a shuttle from Luoyang Longmen High-speed Railway Station to the hotel, giving guests the greatest convenience. Every department and every employee of the hotel is particularly conscientious, from getting off the car and opening the door to every step of the hotel, including checking whether the room is missing after leaving the hotel, they are all in place! The hotel has a super variety of breakfasts, which makes you unable to choose. It is suitable for guests of all tastes and requirements. The beef soup is authentic, and the beef is unlimited. I think I don’t need to go to a small shop outside to eat beef soup. If I want to go to Luoyang again, maybe it’s because I still want to stay in this hotel.

Pros: 1) very friendly and accommodating front desk, they gave us extra water bottles, gave recommendations for restaurants, and responded quickly to my questions on wechat 2) great location 3) clean rooms 4) pretty good selection for breakfast 5) stored our luggage for free 6) they gave us some snacks as gifts when we checked out Cons: 1) our rooms weren't ready for check in when we arrived even though their check-in time is advertised as noon (but it's because their checkout time is at 2pm, so if the previous guest hasn't checked out before noon, it is impossible to get your room at noon); but they can store your luggage for you at the front desk so it is a minor problem if you don't need a room right away 2) there was construction work at the front entrance of the hotel, so we had to walk through a bunch of debris and loud noises; this shouldn't be a problem once the construction work is done, but it was still a surprise for me Overall, the place is great for the price, location, and service.

Where should I begin. The hotel is fantastic. When you arrive you are greeted by friendly staff and a cup of tea while finishing check-in. The room was amazing overlooking the lake. The room was huge and had a great shower and bath with great views. The stay included breakfast that had a huge variety of food and drinks. With your stay you can use the next door fitness and 50 meters swimming pool and the sauna, hot bath and showers. I would recommend staying at this hotel when staying in Luoyang!

I stayed for two consecutive days and I really like this hotel. It has a good location and there are two large shopping malls across the street. The service is super good, from the front desk, guest rooms and restaurants, the service is first-class, the staff are well-trained, especially the elevator service, there are special staff to help swipe the card. There are also souvenirs for check-in. The food city on the second floor exceeded my expectations. It is simply great. All meals are full, cheap and delicious. The chefs and service staff are very serious. In short, every aspect of the hotel makes guests feel warm. Five-star hotels in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou should learn from this hotel.

This lovely hotel is as close as you can get to the Longmen Grottoes! Walk or take the hotel shuttle down the hill, and the river and grottoes are in front of you! Our room had great beds, 2 kinds of pillows (I love the buckwheat pillow, my friend prefers the regular pillow), cool air conditioning (it's hot in July), & excellent, powerful shower with high quality shampoo, etc. Although our Chinese language skills are poor, the staff were patient, helpful, & highly service-oriented, using apps to communicate with us. They explained the finer details of getting tickets to the grottoes & moving around the area. The extensive breakfast buffet was terrific, with a huge range of choices to satisfy all palates--I prefer Chinese breakfast foods, my friend prefers Western style breakfast. Both of us were full and happy, ready to climb all the stairs at the grottoes. It is necessary to mention the dinner restaurant at Dong Shang Hotel. It was excellent. Eggplant=100% fantastic! Cilantro salad=100% wow! I recommend their dinner restaurant even if you are not staying at their hotel.

Homestay owner 小杨 is a very nice and friendly handsome young man. He was very helpful to offer advice on where to visit, the eating places and how to get around. He even helped us to purchase online our entrance tickets to 白马寺 first when we had problem to access the local official website. Thanks again 👍🏼🙏🏼 Being a local homestay, the cleanliness part can be improved further as our room floor was dusty at the corners and also with footprints upon check in. However, 保洁阿姨 (housekeeping aunt) managed to mop our floor the next day after we feedback to owner and no more issue after that. I wld also suggest that the room corners, tabletops and bed head be checked to maintain dust/hair free We stayed 5 days 4 nights at this place. Room had a lovely view of 丽景门 which we felt as if we had travelled back in time. Not as noisy as what we had expected prior to our stay from the reviews left by other guests. Overall, we enjoyed the stay with the warm hospitality from the host and the housekeeping aunt. Aunt was very nice with us and reminded us daily to stay and wear warm enough clothing as the temperature turned cold halfway during our stay in Luoyang.
