We recently stayed at a hotel near the Yongmen Grottoes and had an amazing experience. The receptionist , Ms Chang Ming Ming was incredibly helpful, going above and beyond to make sure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. She was so kind and help us with online wechat booking of the tickets to the Yongmen grottoes, saving us the time to queue at the ticket counter.
The breakfast was simply sumptuous (Chinese breasfast) - worth every bit of the 40 Yuan! . I especially appreciated the freshness and quality of the food.
The cleanliness of the hotel was outstanding. Every corner was spotless, and the room was impeccably maintained, which made for a relaxing and pleasant stay.
Additionally, the location couldn't be more convenient. The hotel is just a five-minute walk to the Yongmen Grottoes entrance making it perfect for anyone planning to explore this beautiful historic site.
I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. It's the perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and excellent service!
Tips - please call ahead for location of the hotel as taxi is not allow to enter the area close to Yongmen Grottoes and the hotel will pick you up frm nearest drop off

The hotel is in the Longmen Grottoes scenic area. You can drive to Dongshan Hotel by navigation and call the hotel for a convenient electric car pick-up. I entered Longmen Grottoes twice during the day and entered the scenic area for a night tour after 4:30 pm. I bought a ticket again at 8 am the next day and there were few people in the scenic area. The breakfast was delicious. You need to go to Dongshan Hotel for lunch and dinner. The meal package of Dongshan Hotel is reasonably priced and tastes good.
